We stayed in Satori suite, and the room was spacious enough for a couple, the balcony was pretty big, with a table with two chairs and a hammock. In the bathroom there was everything you needed (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, earplugs, even face masks - loved them, etc.). The living room, kitchen, terrace and garden were common spaces, where we could share experiences with the host and other guests. The house was made with really good taste, it was very clean and cozy - the perfect stay for our honeymoon.

It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

This is an amazing adventure unlike anywhere else we have stayed on the Big Island. The accommodations are rustic and private and make you feel like you are in a jungle setting. When the sun has set, take your glass of wine and sit at the counter in the open air kitchen. The wildlife sounds are captivating. Friendly host, clean space, good communication, many amenities plus breakfast. The house rules are clear and sensible. We felt appreciated during our stay.

Kehena Mauka Nui Club LGBTQIA+ Clothing Optional bevindt zich in Pahoa in de regio Hawaii Island, op 5 minuten lopen van Kehena Black Sand Beach en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een terras en... This place is amazing! We were there for 3 days and it definitely wasn’t long enough. The clothing optional black sand beach is incredible. Matt went above and beyond by finding two people to do a couples massage for us! The hot tub was the perfect way to relax every evening but the outdoor shower was my favorite place. Do something good for yourself and go stay here a couple days! 💜

Open Gate Hostel Hawaii ligt in Pahoa, op 13 minuten lopen van Kaimu Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. This place was sweet. We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, clean, good vibes. Well equipped and clean kitchen, important for us because we prefer to cook. Loved all the artwork and vibe of the place. The stars were incredible. Marissa, the manager, is wonderful and friendly, with lots of suggestions and advice on things to do. 100% would stay again!

Kilauea House is gelegen op 18 km van Kilauea, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We just spent two weeks in Hawaii, and out of the 6 accommodations, ranging from 5-star hotels to Airbnbs, this was our favorite by a country mile. Would stay again in a heartbeat and can't recommend the place enough.
