Downtown is still in walking distance and you can reach almost all the attractions very easily by public transport as well. The zone is safe, even if you have a walk in the evening hours. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, they remember you during your stay. The room was pretty big and super comfortable, we did like the mattress a lot! Room is perfectly clean and well equipped. The bathroom is quite large and it is really luxurious. I did like that they offer you free bottles of water in your room that is not typical in all 4+ star places nowadays. Breakfast is fabulous: great quality food and wide range of choices!! Rooftop bar offers a fantastic panoramic view of the city, it is nice both in the daylight and in the dark!

We had an added bonus of tacos for dinner as well as the breakfast.

This is a great property with parking or about 10 min walk from train station. It’s on the edge of the town but 5 min walk to a few bars and the memorial building. It’s an old property steep stairs but don’t let that put you off the rooms are very big and you have a kitchen. Very clean rooms and good air conditioning- hosts communicate really well

Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Medical District Uic biedt kamers met airconditioning in de wijk Illinois Medical District in Chicago, en ligt op 15 minuten lopen van United Center. Breakfast was good. Rooms were neat and clean. Hot Pool was small but great for kids indeed.

Exquisite Victorian is gelegen in Springfield, op 9 km van University Of Illinois At Springfield en 12 km van Knight's Action Park. The Victorian home is meticulously cared for and welcoming. We were weary from driving for the day and once we stepped into the Victorian we were at ease. The bed was heavenly, the shower was spa like, the coffee was strong, we slept like babies.
