This was by far one of the best Accommodations and Homestays of our Vietnam trip. It is a home from home. Yennie and her family went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, special attention to detail and exceptional food cooked by Yennie's mother. Again, some of the best we ate in Vietnam. We had a very long road travel from Saigon airport with road closures and accidents and arrived at our accommodation a lot later than planned. On our arrival, both Yennie and her father were waiting outside to meet and welcome us and offered a lovely cool refreshing drink which was so needed after the long trip. We pre ordered a meal for our first night and were so glad we did, as we didn't need to leave the accommodation to go and find somewhere to eat. And it was delicious. We loved our stay so much, it is a very special place. Yennie has put so much love, thought and energy into the Mekong Pottery Homestay which was felt from the moment we arrived until our last day there. We did one of the tours which Mekong Pottery Homestay offers and definitely recommend doing so. Yennie uses a local tour guide to take you around - Henry was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area and places we visited - We went off the beaten track and met some amazing local people, watching them first hand working, making pottery, rice paper, picking and packing fruit, fishing villages catching fish on the water and local sweet factory where everything is made by hand. A big thank you again to Yennie, her father and mother for looking after us so well. We will miss you and all your furry babies. From our heart to yours, until we meet again. Lots of love 💕

This beautiful, peaceful homestay on An Binh Island has been a highlight of our Vietnam trip so far. Oanh is a kind and thoughtful host and happy to engage in conversation with those staying in her home. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and one excellent dinner with Oanh. The homestay is within easy walking distance of the ferry across to Vinh Long town and there are many small stores along the winding pathways. It was good to be able to visit Vinh Long as well - particularly in the evening. We enjoyed a ride on the island using the bicycles provided free of charge. Oanh organised for her brother to take us on a half day boat tour. We felt that this boat tour was well worth it offering an opportunity to see the pottery kilns, an orchard/beehives/honey, the coconut candy factory and a fish farm. Oanh’s brother was knowledgeable and explained the processes in all of the places visited. At the conclusion a nice lunch was provided.

This a very charming, characterful and attractive property with beautiful lush gardens. It's old but has been restored to a high standard. The (English speaking) owner was very quick to respond to any requests we had. We particularly liked the outdoor bathroom. It's a large property which does cater mainly to tour groups, including traditional local music in the evening. We were invited into the kitchen to help cook our evening meal which was great fun.

Quiet and clean property, with well-maintained rooms equipped with everything you need. Motorbikes can be rented, which is recommended for reaching the city center and exploring the surroundings; bicycles are also available at the property. Very friendly staff. Excellent spa. Highly recommended.

The bar upstairs was delightful, with cold Vietnamese craft beers which are excellent. The dessert is also exceptional.

Exceptional location in historic and beautifully gardened and preserved traditional Mekong Delta family home. Very peaceful, and also easy for walking, biking, and they were helpful in coordinating boat trips to fascinating traditional potteries, coconut candy factory and if you'd like, tropical fruit gardens. Or just to watch all the boats go by on the Mekong, see the wooden boats up close, or relax in a hammock next to the flowers. Some of the best food we've had in Vietnam. Friendly and charming country towns within walking distance. Great gardens.
