She is the one who makes this place unique. Speaks perfectly in English and, outside of her property, an amazing facilitator. She takes a lot of care of her guests, and I could not thank her enough for her attention. Second, the house itself. The homestay is a cute, comfortable, and green paradise in Vinh Long. The room was cozy, and even though it had no windows, it felt open, fresh, and inviting. Third, the amenities and services. The breakfast included was a delight every morning, and I was very excited to see what was coming the next morning. Dinner is paid extra, but the menu is totally worth it. The bikes from them are in great shape and great to explore the area. Finally, the location is great, because you can get to the ferry really fast by bike and with the bike the city is within reach to great cafés and restaurants. I'm glad we stayed 5 nights at this beautiful homestay. It did feel like a home far away from home.

She is super friendly and cooks the most amazing meals. The best food I had in Vietnam was cooked by Oanh. Also her sister and mother are really friendly. The location is quite remote but I really enjoyed this and you could experience real Vietnamese life. No tourists to be seen anywhere. Also the homestay is not big. There are only a maximum number of 8 people there and you can connect well with them over dinner.

It's old but has been restored to a high standard. The (English speaking) owner was very quick to respond to any requests we had. We particularly liked the outdoor bathroom. It's a large property which does cater mainly to tour groups, including traditional local music in the evening. We were invited into the kitchen to help cook our evening meal which was great fun.

Very peaceful, and also easy for walking, biking, and they were helpful in coordinating boat trips to fascinating traditional potteries, coconut candy factory and if you'd like, tropical fruit gardens. Or just to watch all the boats go by on the Mekong, see the wooden boats up close, or relax in a hammock next to the flowers. Some of the best food we've had in Vietnam. Friendly and charming country towns within walking distance. Great gardens.
