The lodge was amazing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. The tents were comfortable and well equipped with fantastic views . We thouroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the wildlife, it was an amazing experience overall! The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were so friendly and provided great service. We enjoyed the various activities, especially an experience we did with Eddie, he is a great Ranger, he is very knowledgeable and made the trip so memorable for us. We will definitely come back soon!

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. On arrival we received a warm welcome and Candi gave us recommendations for restaurants, hikes and a terrific hairdresser. The lodge is very inviting and exquisitely decorated, and it was nice to have the option to take a canoe on the river free of charge. Breakfast was delicious, the beds extremely comfortable and I could easily have spent a week here.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. What a phantastic place., so quiet and peaceful ! Willem (I hope we spell your name right) is the best host you could imagine, thank you for your kindness. Breakfast and especially dinner are outstanding, what a brilliant chef ! All staff members are very friendly. And last but not least: They have the nicest little cat we have ever met :-) We would love to return.
