Clean, easy design and laid out, comfortable, access to all amenities. Reception provided all information and was very helpful. Staff in the dining room always smiling and were happy to assist and the chef /s were excellent (many meals here) the cleaners were very friendly and were very personable -even though they were busy with the tour bus rooms. It looked like everyone was happy in their role and wanted to be on site. All up couldn’t as for a better team. We felt very welcome.

We have travelled both domestically and internationally and honestly this is one of the best properties we have stayed in, its a credit to the owners the extra care in the design, and special effort they have taken to make it a great stay and the staff at reception couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful and the views are reasly fantastic.
Can’t recommend highly enough.

It was a nice quiet lay back accommodation.
It was a nice quiet lay back accommodation.
Bev the the proprietor was a gem.
Knew the area well and gave us tips of where to go.
Ate at the Stanley Pub a little exxy, but no complaint.
Book early as it is very popular.
We were interested in an excursion down the Arthur river.
However it wasn't running.
So CHECK before you go.
We did a drive to the Arthur River via the Tarkine Way and had lunch at Murrawah pub. Bistro goes off at 2.00pm.

Great little pretty village with lots of historical cottages, excellent pub meal & wine bar across the road. Lovely place to walk around and venture up the Nut, an old extinct volcano, by chair lift or walking track

Smithton was a good base to go to Marrawah and Stanley, you could also visit Cradle Mountain from being based at Smithton. It would be an easy destination to get back to. 3 nights stay in Smithton doing these destinations would be my recommendation being at Tei’s Place.

Great location , short 10 minute drive into Stanley.
Great location , short 10 minute drive into Stanley. The accommodation had everything we needed and more than we expected really with cereal, milk, tea, coffee etc also provided. It was very comfortable and homely, very clean. Deb was a lovely host and the accommodation was private with our own little al fresco area.

We stayed 2 nights in a ground floor unit - just great, the view was wonderful , just great to sit and watch the waves and the changing seascape.
The room was very clean and everything we needed albeit a few larger plates and cutlery would have been helpful.
The bed super comfy, electric blanket and plenty to keep us warm.
The bathroom very clean although an older style the shower in the bath a danger.’
Stanley is an interesting area good little shops but the winner the seafood ship with a great seafood restaurant above - don’t miss it!
A great place to stay.

Smithton is a great base for exploring the Tarkine Drive.
Smithton is a great base for exploring the Tarkine Drive. You can do the circular drive starting and finishing in the same location. Has a supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants. There are a lot of things we haven't done ie museum and cheese factory.

The Nut is a must visit.
The Nut is a must visit. Be prepared for a 2Km walk to see all its features. We got caught in the rain so it wasn't pleasant.
The hotel and Hurseys provided good meals.
The weather can be brutal and curtail some activities - be prepared or time your holiday with temperate conditions.
