This place is amazing and has so much history ! We absolutely loved this place! The stair case in this hotel is beautiful , the wood work and character in this place is perfect. If you live old buildings with lots of history , you will love this place as much as we did . We will be back one day. And Charlie is such a great guy and very informative, thank you Charlie .

Everything about this beautiful cozy retreat was even better than described and pictured on the website. Have never stayed anywhere so perfect. The studio
Is so well organized and thought out that it seemed much bigger than it was. Paula and Marius have thought of everything you might need and then some. The best part of our day was coming back to this gorgeous place to sit on the balcony, drink some wine and watch the ocean. We were able to make some great meals with the grill as well. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!!

As we were on a motorcycle trip with a specific agenda it didn't allow for extra time to be spent exploring Powell River but definitely a return visit is in the future plans. It's a lovely town and our accommodation was fabulous!!

Powell River is a "jumping off point" for outdoor enthusiasts and has loads of natural beauty. The town itself is nothing special, but the local people have a welcoming, casual and unpretentious vibe that is really charming. The Old Courthouse Inn and its Edie Rae Cafe are a slice of the Victorian past. Magpie's has delicious breakfasts with a Ukrainian flare.

Powell River is a pleasant surprise once you get there by ferry. It has charm and a heritage feel to the lovely old neighbourhoods. There is history worth noting. The people were very friendly, it was easy to find dining. I wouldn't have guessed 'Snickers' to be a Greek restaurant but we gave it a try. The portions were huge! And the ferry ride over to Vancouver Island was right in the middle of town and easy to access.
