The place was quiet, clean, and the shower is awesome. The beds were very comfortable and the host was very accommodating. Highly recommend if you're looking for quiet spacious place with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. He really felt like home.

We liked the facilities, how clean and neat everything is but it's mostly how pleasant and helpful the staff are. We like the dining room and breakfast. And we liked how close it is to the facilities in the area.
We were visiting family in the area and went to the theatre and to their home so it was very convenient for us

Ajax is one of the four cities in the Durham Region just...
Ajax is one of the four cities in the Durham Region just east of Toronto. Depending on traffic on highway 401, you can drive to, for example, Toronto Zoo in about 20 Minutes. In the east-west direction there are also trains (GO and Via Rail) available for day trips (e.g. to Toronto). You can enjoy the beaches and Marinas along Lake Ontario from Oshawa to Scarborough, which are also accessible with public transport (city buses which connect all four Durham cities); however, using your own car is a lot faster. Some beaches, like Lakeview Beach in Oshawa, also have life guards on duty (particularly during tourist season and on weekends). We reached this beach by car via the 401 in about 10 minutes (starting from our hotel in Ajax). All Durham cities have a selection of excellent restaurants. Just ask locals for recommendations. And for shopping enthusiasts, there are lots of big shopping malls. Most beaches were open during the time we stayed in Ajax despite restrictions during the pandemic (which were just being lifted at that time in mid-August). If you look thoroughly during your trip planning you will also find hotels that fit your budget.

I did take a drive to the Walmart store in Port Perry, it was an interesting drive and the Smart Mall was very nice
It was easy to get around Port Perry....when my Fiance came we had fish n chips in town which was very nice....we ate there because I didn't care for the burger I had at the Casino the day before
I like to read and rest, Spending time at your Hotel felt like I was at a Weekend Spa, without the back rub, I did enjoy my stay there and have recommended your place to my friends.

We had booked in Whitby, but the residence was in Oshawa.
We had booked in Whitby, but the residence was in Oshawa. The landlord called us the morning of our arrival and sent us the new address. When we arrived there was nobody to let us in, and we discovered it was a rooming house. We waited about 15 minutes for one of the residents to show up and let us in to show us to our room. The landlord arrived about an hour later, introduced himself and provided towels, and a kettle after we asked for one. He seemed to think giving us the Master bedroom was a favour, but given how disappointed we were with the accommodation we couldn't share his enthusiasm.
