We had an unforgettable experience at Ruboni Community Camp! The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a shower that provided hot water – a true luxury after a day of exploring. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of nature and the gentle rush of the nearby river was nothing short of magical. The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish was a delight, but the pepper steak was a standout – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Unlike the typical overcooked steak, this one was a true culinary highlight, paired with fresh, vibrant salads. The forest walk organized by the camp was another highlight. We were lucky enough to spot three different chameleons, including the fascinating three-horned chameleon, as well as the black-and-white colobus monkey. It was a unique and enriching experience to connect with the local wildlife. What made our stay even more meaningful was knowing that part of the proceeds goes directly to supporting the local community. Ruboni Community Camp is a shining example of sustainable tourism done right. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable experience in Uganda!

A truly wonderful experience. Felex and his family were so loving and welcoming throughout my stay and made me feel at home straight away. The food they prepared was delicious and the conversations were a delight. The atmosphere and togetherness of the village and community was great and I loved exploring the surrounding areas. I miss them all and can't wait to go back.
