I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at La Palma 3 and was thoroughly impressed. The studio itself is beautifully designed and modern, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the terrace. The lake views were breathtaking, and I spent many relaxing evenings enjoying the scenery. The location in Montagnola is peaceful and tranquil, yet still within easy reach of Lugano. II highly recommend La Palma 3 to anyone seeking a relaxing and stylish getaway in the Swiss countryside.

Wonderful accommodation with everything you need and a beautiful view from the balcony. Everything is very cozy and charming! The only suggestion — it would be great to provide one dishwasher capsule and one roll of toilet paper per day. Other than that, everything was perfect — thank you!

Do not go to Magliaso, neither Lugano nor surround areas. Switzerland is plenty of wonderful places. This is not one of them. Everything here is low quality; the worst quality I've never seen compared with Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and the rest of Switzerland. Accommodation is noisy, dirty and poor. Not as kindly as inner Switzerland or as in Italy. Here everything is a mess, disordered, stressing and against the visitors: they do not like tourists. We left one day before and stayed the trip back to our home in Ur and Schwyz Kantons, much nicer, cheaper and cleaner. For sure, I live in Zürich, and I never go back to Magliaso or even Lugano.

One of the most beautiful places in the region. Tourists' friendly atmosphere. Fantastic Free Ticino Transportation Ticket. Ability to visit other towns i.e. Locarno, Bellinzona in convenient way. Spectacular views from mountains around Lugano i.e. Monte San Salvatore. Close to other attractions i.e. Milan, Como Lake, Brassalago Islands.

The metal shower curtain bar fell on my head while.showering. When I reported this to reception, the guy on duty laughed. I asked for another room due to traffic noise all night. They had no other room so received a refund for second.night. There was also a fridge which didn't cool drinks at all and a tiny balcony overlooking the supermarket next door. There are other hotels in other towns along the lake ....

Great location, excellent restaurant and food (and adequately priced food), but overall too expensive. Too crowded, all nights were fully booked, queues for the restaurant, we saw people take their breakfast in the lobby. Way too man people at breakfast buffet and just one coffee maker. Spa and pool area equally overcrowded, need to reserve a lounger early otherwise no chance to even sit down.

Amazing views and location. Access is a bit difficult, but this also gives you more privacy and less noice. The worse was check out time… I like the places with check out time 12:00 so you don’t need to rush

The hotel was good.
The hotel was good. Lugano had a lot of Somalian and others who were very aggressive with begging. One Somalian was essentially trying to commit strong armed robbery. Just be aware of your surroundings.
