All the area was clean and smelled good. Perfect to stay because it has a small kitchen. Free coffee and tea was a big plus!

Situated just 43 km from Poas National Park, XIN Bed&Breakfast features accommodation in San José with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. Host went out of her way to check us in at 2 am due to flight delays. Property was very beautiful. We could park our car securely. The breakfast was freshly cooked and served by wonderful helper with smiles all the time. Balcony was huge.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. It’s no longer exclusively gay, but I don’t think that really matters much as long as it’s welcoming to gay people. The rooms are very nice, the staff is excellent, local people show up at least on the weekend to use the bar, And it’s close to a number of restaurants. (I highly recommend Yurgos Peruvian restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. Superb food). If you want to go into downtown San Jose, it’s about a five dollar cab ride.

Pura vida (pure life) is the Costa Rican motto for embracing all the magic life has to offer. I found this gem online last minute and was so excited because I love the Hyatt so much. The facility was beautiful and had lots of plants which I love. The food and drinks were also divine and I had a lovely meal with a beer, glass of wine, and some appetizers. I slept like a rock and felt great the next morning. The staff couldn't have been kinder and they also made sure I got to the airport on time and enjoyed my stay in the local shopping district where I loved looking around and getting coffee and some exercise. I look forward to coming back here for a vacation and to see my family.
