Buesum was a nice town, typical German seaside town, with a lot of pedestrianised streets and places to eat, very quiet from a traffic point of view, and a long promenade with beach huts and expanses of sand at low tide.

Seaside resort offering lots of options for spending free times; It is definitely worth taking a boat trip to the island of Helgoland. From restaurants I would recommend Ralfs, next to the hotel Haus am Meer (I recommend booking in advance) or Trattoria restaurant, which is about 700m from Haus am Meer. And definitely don't forget the fish in a bun :-), the closest and excellent one is by the dam, 2min from Haus am Meer

The city is in general an excellent place to go if you are looking for a quiet Nordsee Experience. The city is small enough to just walk. There is a sufficient amount of places to eat like Roni Döner & Feinkost and Asia Restaurant Thanh Binh. A nice option for swimming, like Familienlagune Perlebucht. There are even decent bars with delicious cocktails like Café & Bar WAVE.
