Absolutely fantastic! Extremely friendly staff, they are simply warm, smiling and willing to answer all questions. The cleanliness of the hotel is at an enviable level. In the lobby itself, there are tables with lego blocks and coloring pages for the youngest. Although the airport is in the immediate vicinity, no noise reached the hotel accommodation. Legoland is just a few minutes away by free shuttle bus that stops right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend!

It was 10-15 minutes walking distance from Legoland and even shorter to Lalandia. We stayed with kids, age 6&7, they slept on the rised bed room, huge space there. We slept in single beds in main room, would work opposite way too. Under the rised bedroom is a huge area for luggage. Also there is a pull out table. Inside is small fridge that can be set up as freezer too. The breakfast buffet was included and it was really good and fresh and lots of choices, English breakfast type or cornflakes, cheeses, soft boiled eggs, sliced hams, fruits etc, also you can make own pancakes and kids loved that. There is small market shop available on site. Few minutes walk away from barell we had showers and toilets and kitchen facilities. I think they have also washing mashine etc but we didn't use. Overall it was perfect for us and kids loved it. .
Don't forget to bring own bedding. They provide nice warm cushions and duvets but you need to bring own or add to order. Kids loved it.
Ah yea there is a heating screen inside barell that you can switch on and it heats super fast. We didn't have to use but it works great.

Great location next to attractions in Billund. 5-10 min walk to center of town. Great at entertaining the kids, we visited the hotel off season, which can often be a down grade, BUT all the staff was super friendly and went above and beyond and gave us recommendations for things to do with a 2 year old.

Travelled to Billund for Lego House and Legoland. Really enjoyed the Lego experiences. We were there in winter, the options for food in the evening were limited, and in-hotel options were quite expensive.

Ideal for a short stay visiting surrounding area. Legoland very close by but car essential. Relaxing place to stay, very peaceful. Accommodation very clean. Could benefit from proper cooker as jobs slow when cooking for a family. An enjoyable stay. Friendly animals and few games which were fun.

Randbøldal is close to Billund - home of Legoland and...
Randbøldal is close to Billund - home of Legoland and Engelsholm - some castle-like community college campus next to a lake.
The area is surrounded by plenty of forests to go for a walk. It is a good area to take your dogs..because Denmark has dog forests (hundeskov) - it is some area of the forest surrounded by a fence where you can let your dog off the leash and near Randbøldal are 2 dog forests right next to each other. When you want to drive a bit further (1-2h by car), you can also reach the North sea cost (very nice!) or the baltic sea cost/ fjord. Car is definitely needed to get around but there are are also many bicycle roads.

Give is right place to have a break when you are travelling to skagen or from the skagen to somewhere. And this property is really very nice and full fills all the requirement of travellers, with nearby foods, groceries, fuel station etc. It is a very cozy place with warm welcome.

It is a beautiful traditional house in country side. Nice garden, Nicely renovated, equipped with all you need. BUT: it is far away from any grocery store, TV was not working/netflix cut off after 3 days, Ants on window boards, 3 days a handyman came in the morning to paint the windows (intrusion into our privacy, which we had to actively stop), Key should be left in a box outside the house every time we leave the house - we wonder why?, hefty bill of cleaning arrived even though we cleaned the house !, high cost on energy&heating - feels like being cheated & milked and makes the overall experience unpleasant. Very unfortunate. We can not recommend this house/this agent.

Close to nature, beautiful landscapes, clam and peaceful. 30min drive to Legoland and Zoo. Common bathrooms are plenty and clean. Not many nearby shops or eateries so carry everything with you. Kids friendly and safe.

The town itself is dull and unremarkable, completely lacking character. The main attraction is Legoland, which is truly worth recommending. The Lego House absolutely amazed me—we had planned to spend 4 hours there but ended up staying for more than 8. The area around the town is green, with pleasant campsites. I think it’s an interesting place for cycling trips, but I wouldn’t want to stay overnight in the city center.

In Egtved I fueled only my car.
In Egtved I fueled only my car. I wasn`t sure how to operate the tank machine using my bank card. I asked a young man working there -CircleK- and he helped me to go through this procedure. My place of residence there was Egtved Camping Site.
