Everthing! the staff were absolutely wonderful. We were traveling from South Africa and we cant speak much Spanish but everyone here were so accommodating and kind. The restaurant food were so delicious. Thank you to the Chef, the lovely kind owner, the ladies at reception, the morning barrister! We had a true Spanish experience.. aaah such a wonderful treat!!

It's a nice town just outside the city but still considered...
It's a nice town just outside the city but still considered Madrid metropolis. It's a short 25min car ride or 30min by train depending where you head to in the city centre. A taxi ride will cost you about 20-25€ but it depends on the time. Rush hour is much more expensive. So keep that in mind, try both Uber or Bolt for better fairs.
The town is nice and easy to navigate. There's the Park Europa which is a nice park to visit and take photos along the different famous world monuments lime Eiffel tower, Puerta de Alcalá etc. Over a is great and you can find cheaper accommodation that in the city center. There's a mall just outside the town as well. For shopping convenience.

Alcalá de Henares is a reasonable option to stay if you are priced out of hotels in Madrid, as the train takes just 40 minutes. There are many excellent restaurants (much cheaper than Madrid) and the historic centre is beautiful.

I loved the prompt shuttle pick up at the airport AND that the ride to the airport in the morning was so fast. The bathroom is modern with fantastic water pressure. Towels were thick and not old. The bed was comfortable. Having a TV guide that tells a guest what channels are available (and their number) would be a real help if you like to watch tv a bit. Wifi was fast and that is great!

Clean room, safe and quiet neighborhood. Great price. We only stayed overnight awaiting our flight back to the US the next day. There was no hairdryer in the room when we arrived but I contacted staff and one was brought to me quickly and with friendliness. I would stay there again if in the area. Only downside is the elevated non-functional jacuzzi tub that was our only option for showering. Getting in and out was hazardous.

The 13th to 18th century buildings were lovely and interesting. It was very easy to explore the old town - we compared it to a Spanish Cambridge. We loved the small parks and the super covered walkway of shops. The walk to the station for trips to Madrid was easy. Trains were plentiful, clean and cheap.

Good location, short walk to the Coslada Metro station. We found some Kebab place around the corner, the best and cheapest kebab I've had. No UBER was working in the area at midnight. If you have a car, park it at or around the Metropolitano Metro station. There you can use Zone 1 tickets to take the Metro downtown.

Torrejon de ardoz is great place to stay when someone visits Madrid. Having won the European capital city of Christmas several times, i recommend this great place for anyone visiting Madrid. The tourism there is interesting and the people amazing 👏

Historical and gorgeous. Lots to see. Food is amazing and cheap. Everything is walkable. Dont need too much time to explore all of Alcala. Highly suggest the empanada place and visiting the Cathedral. There were also some travelling shows going on in the square that seemed interesting. That is where you follow the actors to different locations which enhances the atmosphere of the show.

This is by far the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. Exceptionally friendly service, breakfast was good, free shuttle to and from the airport. Room was clean and very modern, like they just renovated. It is the perfect place to spend the nights if you don't care at all about being located within walking distance of anything.
The only thing that really bothered me was the fitness center. I specifically picked a hotel with a fitness center and it was missing a few weights and the butterfly machine wasn't working well. But I don't think this is relevant for most people. I was always the only one there and I found ways to work around it.
