The views from the cottage were amazing and the surroundings were so peaceful. The cottage was well equipped and the host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again.

This property is on a family farm, 7.5 mi outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant. The B&B is located in a beautiful farm, a neat and very well kept complex of many buildings, gardens, farm facilities, etc., all set in a peaceful lakeside environment. The main building is elegant, welcoming, and so are the owners. The room was a bit small for 3 people, but OK for a short stay. Breakfast was great! It seems in the middle of nowhere, but it takes just 15 drive to downtown. Price is fair. I would stay there again, 100%!!!

The dinner was excepptionally tasty, although simple straight forward Finnish "kotiruoka". The youngish chef needs a commendation for his work. He also briefed us thoroughly the menu.I will visit again.

Took a bicycle taxi to the castle and it was about 10 minute ride away.
