I loved the fact that it was in a peaceful location, no noise and beautiful countryside surrounding.
The property was clean, comfortable and felt like our own little bit of paradise. Outdoor area was big and there is a place to park. Bed was comfortable, all things we needed were provided like a hair dryer and kitchen equipment. I cannot fault any of it. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Even left us an afternoon tea with some milk for tea. It was truly wonderful. Ideal place to use as a base for visiting St Ives, Lands End, Lizard Point, Penzance etc.

Atteactive and interesting town, a good springing off point for that area. Recommend walk up the coastwatch lookout and the lighthouse.
The town had a good mix of shops, and we recommend the excellent food and service at Queen’s Arms pub in nearby Botallack - a very good recommendation by our hostess at the pod.

The beach has almost white sands and felt like a little tropical paradise, the harbour itself has some amazing history and a beautiful art shop. Would highly recommend a quick visit and over night stay.

We stayed at the Land's End Hotel which was really good.
We stayed at the Land's End Hotel which was really good. We walked to Sennen Cove along the coastal path which had amazing views over the sea. We came back via the cycle route to Land's End.
We noticed that there was a bus to Land's End but we didn't catch it. We had another walk along the south coastal path from Land's End. We also did the Land's End Parkrun which was great.
It is a lovely peaceful place out of season but there are always walkers coming past. As guests at the Land's End Hotel we were able to visit the Aardman exhibition free of charge and also the crazy golf, both of which were excellent.
We had to pay for parking as part of our hotel booking but the parking was easy and there were plenty of spaces.

For those interested in recent history visiting NT Levant Tin Mine workings is accessed from the village of Trewelland. A lovely walk along the coastal path in either direction rewards you with spectacular views. For those interested in birds Red-billed Choughs can be readily seen here. There's quite a large pay car park, though there's opportunity for 3 cars to park sensibly on the left prior to the entrance. There's a cafe and museum at Geevor Tin Mine a short away.

Excellent location for all sorts of day trips along the coast or into the peninsula, either by car, the public bus or bike. Short walk to the coastline with the tin mines and impressive sunsets. There is a very basic shop for essentials if you don't fancy the much bigger Coop in St. Just which is only 3 miles away. The local pub is down to earth in a friendly and welcoming way, has good beer and simple pub food at surprisingly low prices.

Nice rural location thats a close drive to the pretty coastline which hosts some amazing beaches and hiking trails to explore. St Buryan is also a short drive to Penzance which has large shops (Tesco & Sainsbury’s) to stock up on supplies. As it’s a remote village, you will need a vehicle to visit.

We were there for a show at the Minack which is a very special experience. The telecomms museum, telling the story of undersea cables etc, is very interesting. Porthcurno is a good staging post on the SW Coast path, which is spectacular in both the Newlyn and Lands End directions. Nice sandy beach, though with no shade.
But that's it! No food shop, nowhere to eat in the evening.
We came by train to Penzance and used the buses which were reliable and a wonderful way to see the landscape.

St Just is a very friendly town with a wide range of facilties, several shops including a post office and hardwear shop, it also has, a bakery, butchers, gift shops and at least 3 small supermarkets which I deemed to be a very good range. Further to this eating out was fabulous, there are a wide range of cafes, restaurants and pubs.

I loved the hotel it was very modern and we had a lovely room over looking the beach. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and di there best to accommodate and obviously enjoyed what they did. It was the chef that let us down really breakfast was badly overcooked and cold, dinner really salty. We wanted the roast but they had run out of everything by the time we sat down. Its a shame because I think there is no other choice of venue for breakfast or dinner at Sennen Cove. They get very busy for meals and if we had known we would have booked dinner in advance. Shame it would have made our visit so much better.

The local area is idyllic. Great for walking and exploring the coastal path as it is right on the hotel door stop. Sennen cove is beautiful.
