We liked that the apartment was super clean, well outfitted with more than just the essentials, and had a great view. The walk down to the waterfront was fairly short, less than 3 minutes. Its was very quiet and peaceful which was a nice contrast from the craziness in Kaş. We were also able to check in early which was great since we had heavy backpacks.

Hostess very helpful, with little treats on arrival and a local gift on leaving.
Very clean, tidy, comfortable with space.
3 bedrooms, great bathroom with washer.
Pillows large and yummy to sleep on and the towels…oh so fluffy😌
Kitchen well appointed, dining lounge area comfortable.
Excellent wifi.
We enjoyed an evening on our balcony soaking up the ambience of Kasi.
Highly recommend.

Nice buffett breakfast, snacks and other meals available by pool. Ocean access further down hill. Despite being very close to other properties, very quiet and private. Staff very friendly and attentive. At the end of Kas peninsula view is peaceful ocean and Kastellorizo, the Greek island closest to Turkey. I was upgraded to full sea view with balcony and my own jacuzzi.
For couples, very romantic setting, with mirror over the bed.
Easy to get a taxi into center of Kas, better choice than trying to park there.

Staff/owners are absolutely amazing. I felt like I was staying at my best friends villa for the week. Breakfast was stellar. Bed / room is super comfy. View is unmatched. Farther out of town but super easy to get in with the bus that comes every 30min (50 lira only)

This was a top tier hotel with perfect location near the sea. Easy access to the sea, perfect sunset view. The staffs were amazing with customer service, our room was spacey with two balconies and private pool. We were sad to leave this hotel. It’s honeymoon location worthy.

Kalkan is a kind of Hidden Gem. There are countless taste stops. There are miscellaneous hotels and pensions to suit every budget. İt is possible to reach from anywhere with various means.
Kalkan has a wonderful and clean sea. There are daily boat tours to the surrounding bays and beaches.
Very affordable shopping at the weekly local bazaar on Thursdays.
The town is full of bars and restaurants.

Megisti (Kastellorizo) is an ideal destination for relaxing holidays. The island is a hidden gem; it has crystal clear warm waters, welcoming locals and a tranquility that blows you away!! There are paths that you can take to Palaiokastro (unique place to watch the sunset) or St George of the Mountain, boats (daily cruises) to beaches which are approachable via sea only, and bars which guarantee a funny and enjoyable night!

We love Kalkan and have visited for quite a few years now, walking around gives you a good workout as the town is built on a steep hill running down to the harbour and beach. There are many restaurants including rooftop dining which gives lovely views over the bay. There are many places to stay but I believe the accommodation costs have risen over the years we have been going as Kalkan brings in a lot of tourists. A beautiful place to go though and we will continue to visit for as long as we can

Kalkan is a great location for those who enjoy good food and the sea. Almost everyone can speak English and it caters for everyone. A great place for foodies!!
Most villas have pools so it’s nice to chill back at the villa but also head out to the beaches.
The prices are not Turkish prices which is a shame so be prepared to pay home (UK) prices but with a sea view and good service.
It’s easy enough to jump in a taxi and get to the centre so it doesn’t matter if you stay either side of Kalkan. If you want to head a bit further out, Kekova (Sunken City) is just over an hour, Patara Beach is about 20 mins and Kas is lovely to walk around or catch a day trip to one of the Greek Islands.
There are a number of beach clubs across Kalkan that vary in service and price but would recommend Zest and Kalamar Beach Club. Both offer very different experiences but a nice way to spend a day.
Boat tours are a nice way of getting away for the day too with daily boat trips available both privately and as joint groups. I would highly recommend doing a private trip if there are 6 or more of you.

A beautiful island for a perfect, chilled-out escape. Very welcoming and warmth from the owners and workers of all establishments.
We loved the visit to the blue cave and St George's Island and we also loved chilling in the small bay over the other side of the island away from the harbour.
We ate a couple of times in the taverna at the top of the big white stairs next to the church. Very delicious traditional Greek cuisine with a lovely chilled vibe.

Prices are very high for beach clubs /sun loungers etc., considering that there are no beaches the prices should be more competitive . A family of 4 can easily spend £60 to access facilities.
Also Kalkan is mainly visited by British thus meaning that some of more authentic Turkish atmosphere can get lost. Moreover it is disappointing to see prices in £ - why do tourists from others part of the world need to pay in £ ?
