WiFi was working very good (they have few different ones).
2 swimming pools with view on the sea, and the breakfast was sensational.
Hot water in the shower. An open wardrobe so you can easily store your stuff.
We were there while they didn't have other guests so it was super nice.

We liked the fact that their part of the beach was clean without rubbish, corals were very close, you could snorkel there. The staff was really kind, always ready to help - thank you Mias, Linda, Monica. They arranged a snorkeling trip for us to Babi Island and it was amazing with the best captain! Food was also great.

We had a house all to ourselves + the garden. It was a beautiful Balinese styled house, with gorgeous wooden furniture. The bed was really comfortable. Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic.
Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion.
It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

If you come to Maumere, this is THE place to stay.
It's just paradise... really peaceful place, beautiful, incredible sunset! The accommodation is perfect, clean, nice and comfortable. All the workers are really nice and they will help you with everything you need. Just have to relax and enjoy this little piece of paradise!

Wonderful greek-inspired hotel. Everything is well designed in detail even with a Mykonos-style windmill and beautiful gardens.
Must stay here if you come to Maurere.
Great, bright rooms, modern good bathroom, good aircon, quiet lication. And also good wifi.
Very welcoming staff and a very nice manager who reallt cares about his guests and can give tips, arrange a shared taxi and help to get an "ojek" (motorbike taxi) or rent motorbike.
We enjoyed also the delicious breakfast with great choices and home-made marmelade and fresh fruits. Dinner in restaurant excellent, too, with reasonable pricing. They offer also cold beer. And they had a library with german books.
There is a beach nearby (15 min walk) , east of hotel. Ok for swimming at high tide. Also nice for beach walk and beach has a beach-side cafe open at day-time.
Ojeks and minibuses (normally crowded) go along the road , one does not need own transport.

Anyone travelling to Maurmere should be aware there are...
Anyone travelling to Maurmere should be aware there are severe problems with the local airport. It can be closed due to volcanic activity and if it is you will have almost no way of confirming or arranging other travel except by road.
Maumere itself is pretty low service. There are no restaurants except very small local Warungs where you cannot guarantee hygiene. If staying at Cocnut beach it has a great reasturant and facilities but be aware you will likely not leave the hotel accept to do activities such as visit the Kelimutu Volcano which can also be done from other towns.

I went island hopping and snorkeling at a couple of small...
I went island hopping and snorkeling at a couple of small islands near Maumere. The underwater scenery was beautiful. Healthy corals and schools of fish.
Maumere is a Catholic city. There's a big Jesus and Mother Mary statue. The traditional market is also interesting as you can find local woven fabric.
