The host is super friendly. It rained so much, our clothes were so wet from the drive with the motorbike and we were so cold so we appreciated the hot shower there (don't forget to put on the boiler first). He also gave us a second blanket - we slept so well because the blankets and pillows were so fluffy and soft. It's a simple room but clean. There is no flush on the toilet but that doesn't matter, because you can do it easily by your own with the water. We missed nothing in the room. The Breakfast was also good - fried rice. Thank for hosting us. It was us a pleasure.

The family went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. We felt part of their family. The rooms were clean and cosy. The breakfast was beyond tasty and amazing, along with the dinners they offer too. They accommodate every need and helped us find activities to do every day, giving us tour guides or advice. We did 3 nights originally and loved it so much we extended to 5 nights. We got to speak to their other welcoming family members/ neighbours and even attend the local wedding party as part of the family. Best Homestay we have had in our 6 month travel, we will be back :)

Lovely grounds. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was super helpful and tireless in assisting us when we had to find a new driver to tour Flores at short notice. Good on site was tasty and good value.

Ricardo and his family were very nice and welcoming - it felt like we were part of his family and community. He took us on a day trip to see some of the sights and we were even invited to join him and his family for his neighbors wedding party. This place has been my favorite accomodation ever. Peter, Venan and Frederick make you feel like you are part of their family. They are very kind and excellent guides. The rooms are clean and spacious. Fresh coffee is always available. Breakfast was also delicious. I loved the place, but mainly the people, so much that I returned for another night. This was by far one of the best accommodations I’ve been to in Indonesia in terms of warmth and learning about the local culture! - Piter and Fian are the best hosts, so welcoming, I truly felt part of a family! It was so interesting to learn more about the culture and their village - the apartment is very spacious, clean, bright - delicious breakfast included - it’s in a quiet location, only a couple of minutes away by scooter to the centre of Ruteng. You can enjoy a relaxing walk into nature from the accommodation - there is hot water!
