We were really very satisfied, one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. The house is sepatated, approached by a narrow road that ends shortly after at another house, so only once we had to meet another car. We had complete privacy, the house is neatly equipped, everything works well and there is everything you need for a family stay. It is in the middle of a garden with lots of flowers and green, a beautiful place. Mrs Ann is very helpful and kind. Excellent base for trips to Killarney National Park, the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

It’s a renovated traditional two story farmhouse on a 180 acre dairy farm half way between Kerry Airport and the village of Castleisland. You need a car, I recommend Hertz. It’s the whole house! Mary welcomed us with a generous great welcoming basket full of groceries to supplement what was already in the well equipped full kitchen. Nealy took us to the Monday morning cattle sale and showed us the daily milking routine. So fascinating! We missed the date to return the car but Nealy brought us back from the airport when we had to return it and Mary took us back the next day to make our flight out. They didn’t have to do that as there are plenty of taxis but that’s what country folk do in Ireland is my guess.

It was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday was provided, making it feel like a true home from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommended!
