After reading some good reviews decided to book Hotel The Bheemgarh for our stay at Jaisalmer. Must say I did not regret my decision even by 1%. The hotel, the service, the rooms, the food everything was top notch. The rooms were very clean with amazing interiors (very good for photography). The service met our expectation. Sher Khan and Pyaar Mohammad from housekeeping & Kurbaan Khan from the kitchen team made our stay very comfortable. They were all always there to serve us whenever we were in need of anything. They have an in house roof top restaurant with an amazing fort view which serves yummy vegetarian food. We had our dinner at the hotel it self, the food was very yummy. It made us feel refreshed after a tiring day of sightseeing. The hotel is situated at such a place that all the attractions are within a km radius. So we were able to cover everything by foot. Overall the hotel is very good and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Jaisalmer.

The hospitality was top-notch! Abhishek not only provided us with delicious homemade food, but also made sure the portions were generous and satisfying. Every meal felt like a home-cooked feast, packed with flavors that truly reflected the essence of local cuisine. We needed it very much after eating spicy and oily food in restaurants
One of the highlights of our stay was when Abhishek personally arranged for his car to take us to the War Museum, ensuring that we didn’t miss out on this important landmark. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail made all the difference in our trip.
If there were a way to rate him more than 5 stars, I would give him 10 without hesitation! This place is a must-visit for anyone coming to Jaisalmer. We’re already planning our next trip, and without a doubt, we’ll be staying here again. Highly recommended!

We had great time staying at Hotel Fifu, rooms are really very beautiful and comfortable.
Everything was perfect, their rooftop restaurant is amazing. Food was yummy and staff were very courteous. Mr. Aniruddh is very helpful and kind, he took very good care of us. Overall it was a great stay, I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

Jaiselmer has a lot to offer.
Keep one day for desert safari and maybe sunset but avoid desert camps they are highly commercialized and do not offer a lot of room amenities. However, if you are only looking for a basic room and perhaps hot water in the morning, do give it a shot
One day for Jaiselmer fort/ patwa palace and light and sound at he Gadisar lake,
One day for a trip to Longewala border and museum, royal cenotaphs and can leave that evening.

Jaisalmer is an amazing place and over the years I have travelled there, the place gets better and better. I love that many of the old havelis in the town are being restored. It's not a big place, but has much to offer.
I believe Jaisalmer is a must for anyone wanting to see the real Rajasthani lifestyle.

Definately loved Jaisalmer, the fort.
Definately loved Jaisalmer, the fort. We had a soft drink at Paridise within the fort which was lovely and a good chat to the owner which was fascinating. We enjoyed our trip to the desert but didn't ride camels but it was still fun just being there and seeing the sunset. Definately worth visiting.
