Kanpur is an industrial area with very rude and ill-mannered people.. it has some places of tourist interest but they have not been developed so well. If you have some specific job only visit otherwise there are better places to see in Uttar Pradesh.

Your management system is pathetic, very immature, no proper response system is integrated in your booking system not at all customer friendly, your Hotels are over charging customers on arrival otherwise the booking is denied, customers have no options in odd hours specially at night hours, there is no appropriate support system also. The google map locations are also incorrect, lot much has to be done to improve, I will make sure never to book thru your portal. Thanks

Kanpur is old industrial city, most of the old industries have been closed due to changes in market. No new commercial area developed for new businesses. Polluted city, with no civic sense in the masses

Finding a place to stay in Kanpur can be tough. It's hard to find hotels that allow foreigners, and it's also difficult to find a long-term apartment. However, the city itself is nice. It has a rich culture and offers interesting attractions. The people are friendly, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. Despite the challenges with accommodation, Kanpur is still worth a visit if you're willing to put in the effort to find a place to stay.

reception manager did not have the booking on his computer. neither he could see the special request. he alloted me a room which was shanty and toilet seat was not there. when i protested the reception manager started shouting on me. i had to tell him that i am a services officer of 1988 batch from govt of india. and then he relented. No water no towel was given. very very bad.
