We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Everything was perfect with a lot of detail features and esthetically done. Perfect to enjoy life, get some work done and exploring the beautiful island of Goto (Fukue Island). Top service level and excellency in many aspects. Our housekeeper was awesome and he showed us some amazing hidden places on the island. So friendly. We can highly recommend this place if you love nature, tranquility with a high value of life. There is a symbothium between life & nature. Many thanks for this experience. 🙏💫🧬

The hotel design is beautiful. Stunning views of the beach.
The communal bath was beautiful, we loved this. Staff were very lovely and tried their best with my poor Japanese skills!
We hired a car there too, very convenient as this included pick up at the ferry/airport.

This house is in a beautiful location right next to the little port and close to a lovely beach. We enjoyed fishing in the evening and swam at the beach often. The house is spacious and comfortable with a great communal dining/cooking area. The plentiful wash facilities are superb. We love the onsen!

Went on the 5-hour guided tour of the islands and churches - that was truly amazing & memorable ! Highly recommended. Only pity was the tour was conducted in Japanese only without translation but we still enjoyed it very much.

Its an industrial town - not a city - and wonderful as a place to stay and as a stepping point for ferries to the islands. Rent a car and explore the island. Also the town museum is fantastic - its GOTO movie is wonderful. Everything you need is within easy walk and people are friendly although few speak English (take a mobile phone translator). Its very very Japanese which you expect but for some Westerners it might be a little challenging. the Tourist Office at the Port is exceptional.

I think the most outstanding quality of this hotel was the service of the staff. They arranged for us to have a driver for an entire day to discover the island and its history. The driver was a local man who was very familiar with the interesting history of the island and answered all of our many questions. This is not to detract from an absolutely spectacular room with a window wall view of the ocean and the small islands in the distance. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and these meals were excellent.

A great place to explore Japanese island life!
A great place to explore Japanese island life! Not only is the nature beautiful, but the people are very kind and helpful. To get the most out of a trip to Goto, I recommend traveling with only a few specific places to visit in mind and filling in the gaps with some natural exploration. The places I wanted to see were great, but it was the little surprising spots and locations along the way that became the most memorable.
