I loved everything, but especially the experience I had there, mostly thanks to the kindness that Yama-san and Yuka-san showed me. They were so welcoming, as were the other people who stayed at the hostel. The location is beautiful with wide open windows that show the view of the strait. People are lovely and kind. There is a space to cook your own food, which was very convenient! The bus runs through town, so you can easily catch it to go to Izuhara if you want. There are beautiful areas all around Yamaboushi that are great to check out!

Yuta was a fantastic host - friendly, thoughtful, and responsive. He gave some great recommendations for the local area. The house was large, in perfect condition, and very comfortable. It was a great stay.

There is a lot of culture and history to explore in Tsushima. I would definitely recommend hiring a car, so make sure you have your International Driving License before your trip! The public transport isn’t very easy to navigate and you would be able to experience so much more with a car.
