The house was comfortable and very cozy. However, it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues as the bed is accessed via an unrailed wooden ladder. For us, everything was convenient and pleasant. The hostess provided ample heating, making the stay very comfortable. It was also nice that everything was well-thought-out, such as the availability of brochures in various languages suggesting local attractions.

We absolutely loved this stay – wow! Everything was clean, tidy, and smelled great. We were 6 adults and 2 kids (one 5 years old and the other just 3 months). The host even asked in advance if we needed a baby crib with bedding – everything was prepared for us, and the crib was a real one, not just a travel cot!
Our youngest guest was beyond happy – the atmosphere felt just like home! The host was amazing – she answered every question, checked in on us herself, and was incredibly helpful. Truly wow – our highest recommendation!

Nice, clean city ( at least the areas my family visited), a lot to see and to do, even more if weather is good. Not so crowded. Excellent beach, areas are separated for different needs (dogs, kitesurfing, etc)

Very beatiful place and quiet. Amazing nature. Very good staff and clean. There are much space outside and inside. Children can play in playground area. Bad was only this that if we went shower there was very bad water pressure. There sre very beatiful bbq area and river. There can swim. Also was there lot of sunbath chairs :)
It was easy to get there :) we arrived there bit late but that wasnt problem for staff. Very friendly place :)

Ventspils - city by the sea, which has Blue flag beach. It is not very crowded even in hot summer days. It is Baltic sea, it can be cold even in summer, it depends on the weather. But there are very nice sandy beaches. The city Ventspils - cozy city with many flowers, many parks for kids to play or just walk in the nature for anybody. Open air waterpark for kids. There is nice promenade to walk. There are some museums. It can be nice calm stay by the sea.

Please remove the mouse, because it harms the guests' health. Arrange the ventilation. There could be more kitchen tools. Closets or chests of drawers would also help. I would add a couple of floor lamps for lighting.

Ventspils is only accessible by bus from Riga, there is no...
Ventspils is only accessible by bus from Riga, there is no passenger rail service. The town has a long history as an ice-free Hanseatic port and was a strategic port for Russia during their period of control. Boat tours of the port area are available and there are many fine walking paths along the shore and out to the lighthouse at the entry to the harbor. Many old historic wood buildings remain and there are wonderful parks scattered throughout the city. The beach is quite extensive, but exposed to the onshore winds. The town is quite spread out and renting a bike is a good option if not travelling by car. Saturday morning is the best time to enjoy the local markets, and there are a choice of restaurants to suit every taste.
