Situated in Tétouan, Hotel A44 has a terrace, on-site dining and free WiFi. This 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. We had a great stay at the Hotel A44. The hotel were quick to respond to a couple of questions we had before arrival and they accommodated our special request. The rooms at the front overlook the main road and the airport which we loved! McDonalds is just across the road, and there are several restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel too. Breakfast was a very varied and wide choice, the room was spacious and immaculately clean, with plenty of storage, and the shower was very powerful. We got a taxi to the hotel when we arrived at a fixed cost of €10, but we walked on our return to the airport, over the road through McDonalds and it's only about a 10 minute walk to the airport. We will return to Tétouan, and we will stay here again without a doubt.

Enjoyed the more traditional Moroccan market, a market that isn't focused on tourists. Tetouan is situated in a beautiful mountain valley and the Spanash/Moroccan architecture in the old town make it an interesting city to explore. I would have liked more time to explore the area.

We drove all across Morocco, from Marrakech to Merzouga and then north up to Tangier. I must say Tetuan was the less touristic city in all our trip from our point of view. What was really good was shopping. We managed to get lots of things at very affordable prices (much cheaper than other cities in Morocco).

Very hilly but taxis very cheap. Not a place for those who have walking problems. The day starts slowly and quiet until about 1pm when streets become very busy and a bit claustrophobic. A trip to the Beach at Martil definitely worth it. If you can take public transport/shared taxis to sights as it is so inexpensive. A 1 hour plus trip in a luxury coach to the Blue City cost just over 5 euros for two adults (seniors). Definitely worth a visit to see a more real Morocco but if you want the touristy vibe head to Marrakech .

Tetouan has several museums well worth visiting. The old medina is an experience in its own right, alleys opening in to small squares on which sit cafes to take a coffee or mint tea. The people of Tetouan are kind, helpful and accommodating to those visiting their city.

I spent 2 nights, 1 full day in Tetouan.
I spent 2 nights, 1 full day in Tetouan. I thought just right. Also if you are into shopping avoid Friday as a lot of shops in the Medina are closed in the morning. It didn't matter to me, I actually enjoyed looking at the architecture and just wall around.
