The apartment was spacious, very clean, and had everything I needed. The owner’s dad who helped with check-in was very nice, friendly, and helpful. It was convenient to be so close to the airport for a very early flight in the morning.

It is really nice spot, although you could go a bit closer to the sea. You can get around quite easily using the city buses. However, you should buy a Tallinja card for that, as buying separate tickets will not pay out (price is 2.5 euros at driver per 2hour trip). In contrast, for 25 euros you can get 7-day bus card (with many different options available). It will save you a lot.

The only location to consider staying in the Three Cities...
The only location to consider staying in the Three Cities area is Birgu. A small place with quaint streets and lovely architecture. No 2 bus takes you to Valletta or you can walk just along the waterside to the ferry. A number of places to eat in the village square or along the waterfront make Birgu a great relaxing destination or base to visit Malta. Had a fabulous tasty meal at BeBirgu in their pretty courtyard. The only thng we would avoid if visiting Birgu again would be to stay at 12-16 Pacifiku Scicluna. Not a good accommodation (see reviews for room 2). Please avoid it.

Valetta is a nice and charming city.
Valetta is a nice and charming city. We stayed 4 days which was just enough for exploring the surrounding cities (3 cities, Sliema, St Julian...) and a boat day-trip to Comino and Gozo. It is perfect for a nice city break, it was not overly crowded or too hot during our November stay. We recommend Piadina cafe for a casual snack and nice cocktails. Public transport was very efficient, cheap and on time.

Extremely kind and responsive host!
Extremely kind and responsive host! He replied immediately to all our questions and was always available. We needed a cooler bag, and the host provided one right away. The maisonette has everything necessary for a longer stay. We were two friends with two children, who were also very happy. I highly recommend this place for accommodation! :)

Good central location for a visit to Malta if you want an alternative to the bustle and noise of Valletta. Very much a town where people live their lives rather than a 'tourist trap'. Good access to local buses. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the town. We enjoyed a wonderful at Mennula, which has a lovely roof terrace and offered a blend of Sicilian and Maltese food and some great wine. Very convenient for the main Malta airport which can mean a bit of aircraft noise, which we didn't find a problem. The bell on the main Church in the centre chimes the quarter hour all day and all night!

We only stayed for one night. We were looking for a place close to the airport. Would recommend this to everyone! Taxi service to the airport through the BOLT application for only 5 EUR. The accommodation is very clean, the surroundings are pleasant! Valletta is very easy to reach by public transport!
