This cabin is beautiful! My boyfriend and I had a gorgeous one night stay here during our road trip and the view was incredible. Waking up to that is something we won't forget!
The kitchen was well enough equipped for what we needed for the one night but it is small so there isn't a great amount you can do cooking wise, but wasn't a huge problem for us. The only thing was the cabin did get very hot in the time we were there (25/26⁰ outside) and it was like a little oven in there, but worth the sacrifice for the view.
The surrounding area is also lovely!
The cabin was nice and clean but the only thing we had a slight issue with was the dishwasher wasn't unloaded, so until the end of our stay we didn't realise where everything was and thought there was only one bowl (lol) - and the sink was a bit grubby. Could also do with some towel hooks in the bathroom somewhere as there was no where to hang the towels up - other than that, beautiful!

We’re in love, the place is so cozy, the view is amazing, everything we need is in the room. The host was friendly, we loved the jacuzzi too, and there’s a small trail that we followed. We’d definitely love to stay there again.

Very clean cabin in a very pretty campsite surrounded by trees. Plenty of cooking equipment in the cabin also. I can’t comment on the hotel facilities as we didn’t use them.

I visited Sogndal as a starting point to travel to Urnes Stave Church. The little town was a welcome change from the busy life of the big city such as Bergen. The weather was cloudy and rainy, but a walk on Fjordstien was a lovely pastime.

It is a very small place but ideal to visit Urnes stavechurch, a total must and very easy to reach with the ferry which connects Solvorn with the opposite side of the Lustrafjord (actually part of the Sogneford).

We. drove their with our car.
We. drove their with our car. And it felt like the best mode of transport is by car or motorbike. There is a small town where you can get groceries and stuff just 15 mins away. We did not move a lot and just stayed at our place. The place we stayed was nice.

Sogndal is a perfect home base if you want to spend a couple of days exploring the Sognefjord. It is the right size for walking around either day or night. People are very friendly and helpful. I don't think there was a launderette in town, that I remember, and that would have been helpful.

We didn’t like that the owner is advertising pictures with a view of the fiord from the cabin and we could see only two cabins in front of us!! Pictures which he used are taken from a different cabin on the property. It was also hard to get hold of him. It took us 1 and half hour. Also the public road behind the cabin was noisy.
