The hostel is not far from the beach. It's like a little village of bamboo cabins. One of them is a little Asian restaurant, the other is a bar/bistro, there's even a little tattoo studio, a music stage, a pool, fittnes area billard table and many more stuff. Breakfast (till 10 AM) is included in the price. The staff is very nice and it's a good place to meet new people.

The staff were beyond helpful allowing us to check in super early after a night bus, which we were so grateful for! The rooms are brand new and beds are comfy. Hot water and wifi all worked perfectly. Location was easy to walk to town and the surf. Would recommend for a stop over in Mancora or for a longer stay :)

Very close to a quiet part of the beach. Located in a quiet area of Mancora, and yet only 7 minutes walk from all restaurants and bars. Breakfast is delicious. The overall atmosphere is super relaxed.

We absolutely loved everything! The owner let us check in early after we arrived very early in the morning from Ecuador. The room was cleaned during our stay and had everything we needed. The location is lovely and calm. We had nice cocktails and cozy dinners at the location as well, with the main part of town just a short stroll on the beach away.

The room and the whole hostel were exceptionally clean. There was a big smart TV hanging on the wall, and the towels have been like those from a 5-star hotel. The hostel is run by a lovely family and they have been helpful with everything I needed.

Great place and very nice hosts! We arrived with the night bus from Cuenca at 4:30am, and the host got up to welcome us and let us check in (we paid for half a night extra). The pool was also very nice.

This is the best place I have stayed so far while visiting Peru! The beds are super comfortable. The bathroom has hot and cold water at a good pressure. Everything is meticulously cleaned. The place has a super chilled, friendly vibe that is very calm and peaceful. There is a great sized swimming pool that is cleaned daily. The owners are so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They also have some very cute pets, a cat and two dogs, Doggy and Dukky.
They have dorm mixed dorm rooms, female only dorm rooms, and spacious private dwellings with ensuite bathrooms, too. There is a good 400Mb fibre broadband connection with good WI-FI throughout.
There is a large outside communal space, with palm trees that not only provide shade from the sun but also a beautiful ambience when the wind passes through them making a rusling sound that really gives the impression of being on a desert island somewhere. Stone House really is a super chilled oasis that is nestled in the heart of the bustling beach town of Mancora, and best of all, it's only 10 mins walk to the beach.
In my opinion, this is by far the best choice when visiting Mancora.

This is a perfect hotel if you want to have a room in front of the sea and sleep with the sound of the waves. The rooms are simple, but they have a veranda with a hammock and chairs. You walk some steps and you are at the beach. We also enjoyed very much the food at the restaurant, where they serve a wonderful breakfast.

Great bungalow, It had a beautiful landscape just in front of the beach. It had a very comfortable hamaca, chairs in the sand, in the beach, very well maintained, the owner was there and ready to help as much as needed. We were 4 adults, 2 kids, we loved our stay there. Kitchen was very well-equipped, Wi-Fi was working properly, TV, nice living room, we highly recommend this property. Only but your food before going through the ''peaje'' because you are charged every time you cross.

We were right on the beach.
We were right on the beach. So it was nice to relax by the sound of waves. Nice for the long walk on the beach in the morning when sun is not too strong.
Restaurants and small coffee houses were not so close to the place we were staying on the beach. But we rented a car so it was easy to get to the town.
The best place to eat was Chef Benites in The Mercado on the second floor. Food was very good and the price even better. Mancora is small town so it is easy to get around.
I like beaches where we can swim, snorkel. And the beach in Mancora is not suitable for it. So I would probably not come here again.

Mancora is chaotic, public spaces are ill kept, roads are calamitous. It is rather noisy, and city planning is something unheard of. Having said that, the town is colourful, and people are lovely, always with a smile and mild mannered. The food is great wherever you go, and there are several lovely areas by the beach. To the south of Mancora you can find perfection: all the buildings are fantastic and there are fewer people and noise. Maybe staying in the south (playa las pocitas and further south) and visiting the north is the right combination?
