The breakfast was fine. Just a bit too much rice in the soup. Maybe some juice or fruit would have been nice. Hot chocolate was offered, but unsweetened coffee with milk would have been nice - only sweet instant coffee was given. No tea was offered.

Great value bang in the centre of town. Average looking from the outside but when you open the door it opens onto a spacious well equipped room. Be aware you are very close to Loei's party zone, which is a plus if you want to go out but a minus if you want complete peace and silence

Mina resort is a little gem of a resort I found by accident. Absolutely amazing staff, from management to chef to gardeners and cleaners, all some of the nicest people you will meet in your life. The pool is amazing and one of the a few in the whole of Loei Province you can have a proper decent swim in. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Beds are amazing. A market in walking distance up the road, and a fine restaurant 50m away, along with many more. Perfect for families with young kids as the pool is on site and perfectly safe environment. Can't find a fault in a perfectly run resort with all the facilities to my liking and standards, but it's best asset is staff, from top to bottom. They can't do enough for you, even after you leave they look after you😜 The best experience I've had in any resort or hotel. Thank you all for a great stay in a beautiful place. Keep no. 17 house up to scratch for me. I'll be back someday. Like the song says, you can check out, but you may never leave. It takes a little piece of you. Friends forever.

Good hotel and central enough. The rooms are stated as having a river view but that is only if you go outside your room door, the balcony has a view of rubbish bins. The rooms a clean and staff are good. The breakfast is not to my or my Thai wife's tastes.

We stayed one night as a quick launching point to Phukidung...
We stayed one night as a quick launching point to Phukidung National Park. The surrounding areas are rural, lush and green. The two night stay up on the National Park plato was brilliant. We hired bikes and explored the beautiful view points from the top of the cliffs. You will need to be reasonably fit to challenge the hike up to the plato. The tent and associated bedding is new and clean. There's plenty on food choices from the stalls at the top.
