The location is lovely, in a beautiful village near Matmata. Perfect for a stop on the way south or as a base for exploring the area.
The dinner and breakfast is exceptional, and served in the owners' gorgeous cave dining room that is stuffed with local wines, olive oils, honey and more.
Really, there isn't a thing to fault - the owners mentioned long careers in hospitality before they opened L'Auberge and it shows - from the way the rooms have been set up to the bedding, everything is thought through. Strongly reccomend a visit!
Featuring a garden, an outdoor pool and pool views, Dar Ayed Tamezret is situated in Tamezret. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.
