The breakfast was delicious in a cozy dining room sitting next to a lit wood burning fireplace with soft music in the background. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the claw foot bath tub was so enjoyable!!!

The entire property was clean and appeared well maintained. The room was spacious for two and the small amenities like a microwave and mini-fridge really did bring a higher value to our stay. The hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful.

The house is beautiful with plenty free parking.

The house is beautiful with plenty free parking. We arrived later in the evening and staff was very acommidating. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a beautiful steam shower. The provided breakfast was home cooked and amazing. One of the best blueberry muffins I've ever had.

Courteous staff. Nothing else was quality.

Courteous staff. Nothing else was quality. Alternate entrance door taped open: no key necessary to enter so very unsecure. Garbage left by alternate entrance door. Room needed serious upgrade. Bathroom had been remolded.

The best B&B ever! Kitt and Gary thought of everything.

The best B&B ever! Kitt and Gary thought of everything. Preston is a fantastic person who went out of his way to be helpful. We loved the ample breakfasts a the wonderful guests we met. The wrap around porch with comfy furniture and breezy, cool August evenings were very conducive to conversations late into the night. Kitt and Gary were a delight, as were the resident dogs and cats. Bluefield is a lovely town with several phenomenal restaurants. We ate at the Railyard twice, at Culture (Guatemalan/Mexican), and at the high end Vault. It rivals the best restaurants in major cities at a fraction of the price. Bluefield is very safe and relatively easy to get around once you get used to it. The vertical street signs are annoying. We relied on our hosts’ recommendations and were never disappointed. Bramwell and Princeton are definitely worth the short drive. The friendliest, kindest people we ever encountered. Everyone—shops, restaurants, gas station, parks was nice, attentive and helpful. Go visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Not an culturally or ethically diverse location.

Not an culturally or ethically diverse location. My family and I are brown Americans. My teenagers felt as if they were being gazed upon in public. I tried my best to reassure them that we were only there due to a family members high school graduation in the neighboring town and to learn from this experience and still be pleasant. Being kind is free and welcomed in America even if you're skin tone is different.

Staff was nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

Staff was nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. All appliances worked in my room. TV did not work good in my mom's room. Needs major updates: Entry doors...entry door "C" did not work, ac...in my room would not cool at night, toilets...had to hold handle down for a long time to fully flush, bedspreads...cigarette burn holes all over them and I stayed in nonsmoking, better pillows. Needs better cleaning...coffee in lobby smelled and tasted of mold, toothpaste spit still on faucet, outside grounds had broken beer bottles on the sidewalk, trash in the parking lot, doors coming in and out of hotel dirty. This used to be a better place to stay.

A beautiful inn.

A beautiful inn. Quiet, clean, several places to relax within the property as well as outside seating areas. Kit is a wonderful host. She welcomed us upon our afternoon arriving, shared suggestions of places to visit. Inquired about food allergies, preferences, etc. Kit is an Excellent Chef. Each morning we were served delicious and healthy breakfasts! Our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend The Bluefield Inn.

Was supposed to be a stay over, but we ended up with car trouble and every single person we dealt with was so pleasant and helpful! There were not many places open on a Saturday morning, but the people (Cherryl-Ann) at Friendship Hyundai went above and beyond to get us back on the road. She got us a ride to Enterprise, did all the paperwork on getting our car fixed on the way back from our trip. If they are any indication of how great of a little town that is, I will visit every time I can!

Princeton is the perfect spot for travelers heading out of Virginia and into the mountains of West Virginia. Located at the intersection of three main gateways this growing small city has everything to offer. The Welcome Center has lots of information on all the natural beauty spots to see if staying for any length of time. The people of WV and Princeton are always willing to help out any traveler to guide them towards the parks and river ways. Highly recommend a drive to view the New River Gorge Bridge located in near by Fayetteville, WV.
