The staff is wonderful! We were in town due to a death in the family, and we were treated kindly and respectfully. Sydney was especially helpful, and so compassionate. Thank you— it made a terrible situation better—

This hotel is so beautiful, so clean and nice. The whole staff is so professional and pleasant, very helpful and friendly. Daniel at the front desk deserves an special mention. The breakfast is great, we have been staying there for several years. If you have a big family I recommend you these suites, you can fit up to 8 people.

Our kids , 6 and 8 were on cloud 9. It was the highlight of our month long California road trip. And us parents could finally relax because the kids were busy with activities and happy. We stayed in the adventure themed room, and it was just the perfect layout the kids loved having their own area and our bed was huge and comfortable. Cannot recommend the hotel enough! Worth every penny.

I live in the region. Carlsbad the city was not the issue.

I live in the region. Carlsbad the city was not the issue. It was Studio 6 that was disappointing. The advertisement on booking.com for this facility is inaccurate, downright wrong. When was the last time anyone from booking.com actually visited the property?Booking.com reputation is based on reviews from customers that use your services. Please, I implore you to have someone visit this property. This property is not a good representation of the city and of booking.com.

We spent most of the time in San Marcos.

We spent most of the time in San Marcos. Found a wonderful Italian restaurant for dinner called Nucci's on Melrose in Vista. Went back the next day for lunch. Weather is always nice there. Had a small group morning cruise through boat rental on Lake San Marcos. Pilot yourself boat was easy. Two hours of beautify scenery watching the ducks while enjoying the quiet. Everyone friendly from staff to other boaters. Went to Quail Gardens in Escondido for holiday after dark light walk, starts at 4 pm. Enjoyed fine dining at a San Bernardo restaurant named Carvers. Open for dinners only. Reservations are a must.

Our third family trip to Encinitas, a charming beach town, was a delightful experience. Its quiet and walkable streets made it an ideal destination for a family vacation. We cycled along Neptun Avenue and relaxed on the beach near the Stone Steps. The town boasts a variety of great restaurants and coffee shops. We highly recommend Atelier-Mannana and Leu Leu, but be sure to book in advance! Herb and Sea is another must-try.

San Marcos is a beautiful city and less hectic than San Diego. I got to enjoy the Amalfi Restaurant, which I highly recommended. It is on Lake San Marcos by the Marina, it felt like stepping into the Italian Riviera for the evening. I attended a conference at The Movement church and that facility was beautiful.

I had a wonderful solo stay at the Cozy Coastal Hangout! The pool and spa were my favorite spots to unwind, and getting around Oceanside was super easy — everything was just a short drive away. I loved grabbing bites at Hello Betty and Beach Break Café, and spent my days exploring the pier, local shops, and watching the sunset by the beach. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Disappointed, The property did not live up to expectation as the grounds were becoming overgrown compared with all the estate properties surrounding it. No breakfast offered. Communal kitchen for any drink or food preparation. Not suitable for older people. The description of the property needs updating. "Chalets" were just rooms in the house. Our room was very large, with a very modern bathroom off it. Glass paneled shower, huge bath tub and toilet, twin handbasin were separate. No hand soap etc. Hot water took 5 mins to arrive.

I love everything about Encinitas.

I love everything about Encinitas. It is one of the spots where you can go and feel like a local even if your not. I have stayed at the 12 Senses Retreat which was super cool with their nature themed rooms and the amazing hostess. And it is just up the road from Swammi's Beach and the Self Relization Center, which is gorgeous. I have stayed at Brisas Pacific Hotel which was super affordable and a few minutes walk to the beach. You can pretty much walk everywhere in Encinitas. I plan to move there myself soon :)

The area and people were great!

The area and people were great! Loved San Marcos, Carlsbad, San Diego, and Malibu! Drivers are very considerate and cautious drivers. No litter a very clean area. I was in CA for work therefore only had a day and half to tour the area but hubby did while I was at work and said the same thing. We are both truly in love with area and would love to come back and stay for a week or more just to visit.
