Hotels near Delta County Airport - ESC, Escanaba

If you will be traveling to the Escanaba/Gladstone Michigan area. Make sure that you book a stay at the Terrace. This place is one of the nicest Hotels that I have stayed in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. It is beautifully placed on a nice shoreline property. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. The food at this place is awesome. It has a nice bar with great employees. In the morning you will be fortunate to have a great coffee shop right on the property. Truely a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. They even provide free bicycles if you would like to two wheel around. A perfect place to just check in an unwind for a few days. A real gem of a Hotel.

Best Super 8 Motel we have stayed at! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nourishing and substantial and included proteins , instead of other Super 8, which were all carbohydrates. Pool was clean and refreshing. Staff was friendly and kind.

A great selection of stores, friendly people, the Cason J. Callaway tied up at the city pier all made for a nice trip. Some of the residential roads are a bit bumpy. Too bad the weather didn't oblige us. Election night turned out great while we watched results come in from the comfort of the hotel's bed. I do recommend bringing a bluetooth speaker instead of the TV's internal speakers. It's easy to configure and adds a lot more bass (I used a JBL Charge 4).

I had a emergency situation going on with my family. Front desk was very helpful understanding, patient. Breakfast was great at hotel. Or go across street to Family Inn. Getting around very easy small town.

Great little town to drive through on a road trip! Stayed in a very comfy king size bed at the Travelodge to split up our drive from Ontario to Minnesota, both ways! Lots of options for shopping, restaurants, fast food, banks etc. We ate at the Wendy's which was very clean and had friendly staff. We also visited the Walmart which was way bigger than we expected for a small town. Upper Peninsula, Michigan is such a wonderful area and we will definitely be visiting again.

I would not recommend this Hotel. The staff is awesome, but the hotel is not. Newly renovations left a lot to be desired and it was very poorly done. The door to our room was not hung properly and that is where it all goes down hill.
