I have never stayed in such a perfectly clean, well appointed accommodation that was so elegant and classy without the feeling you were walking on egg shells. - you could eat off the bathroom floor it was glowing with care !

Super nice staff. What was amazing was that the hotel provided its gets with Eclipse glasses as we were there the day of the eclipse. All the local stores were sold out of the glasses. They also welcome you with cupcakes and cookies. Great place to stay!

Room was clean but old and outdated.
Room was clean but old and outdated. Icky carpet and linoleum, old furniture, a metal bar to hang clothes, drafty windows, an old metal radiator that wouldn’t turn on until it was colder than 60 out and then turned on and made the room a sauna. All this for $170+ a night - the most overpriced room I ever paid for.

Lewiston has a great rink in the area to watch NAHL Hockey - only three minutes away. The Simones Diner was a cute breakfast place with the most incredibly reasonable prices and the kindest hospitality. Many great eats - Simones, the Italian bakery, Dubois Cafe, to name a few. The town is quaint and seems to be going through a sort of renaissance. Lovely churches and friendly people.

The casino was one of the reasons we stay in Oxford. It is clean and has a good vibe. We only play slots...never win or loose much.
The other reason we stay at Oxford is the numerous Indoor flea markets. a few of these are huge.
The hotel is on a major highway. The casino is directly across the street from the hotel. ... a 5 to 10 minute walk. Other than that, there is no reason to walk along the busy highway.
Oxford has a Walmart and Hannaford minutes from the hotel.
The Casino restaurant has alway been a reasonable priced place for a good basic meal. We also have an enjoyable meal at the Honey Badger restaurant every trip.

Lewiston is a town in transition.
Lewiston is a town in transition. Some parts are a little dodgy but overall it was close to a lot of the places I wanted to see and Bates College is beautiful. The Inn at the Agora is a great place to stay.

There is a lot of traffic on Route 26 and if you don't know...
There is a lot of traffic on Route 26 and if you don't know where you are going, it's a bit intimidating. We had a wonderful meal at the Honey Badger. The staff there were friendly and food was great.
