The ambience was peaceful; visited the Evangeline statue in St. Martin Parish at the Saint Martin de Tours Mother Church of the Acadians and also visited the Longfellow - Evangeline State Historic Site.
Pressed for time, I would love to get back and visit soon....

It’s a sleepy town with very little excitement that I could see. There were casinos up and down the strip, but I’m not much of a gambler. I’m sure gamblers would enjoy the mini options of different casinos/Hotels. I was there to visit Youngsville, which is right next door.

I love the wide variety of restaurants.
I love the wide variety of restaurants. I like the downtown entertainment venues and restaurants also. Lafayette also offers plate lunches at markets. The ones at Champagne’s Market offer a lot for the money. I’m always pleased with the portions.
The merchandise at Champagne’s Market in the Carencro area offers good quality items and a fantastic dining room for eating. The patio area is also nice too.

I love that you provided all amenities plus e few extras including washer/dryer, expresso coffee maker, plenty dishes/silverware, and travel size hygiene kit. Quiet area. Plenty of lighting. Not far from anywhere you want to travel: near LFT airport. Quick response/communication with host. Will definitely be staying there from now on..goodbye hotels.
