I absolutely enjoyed my one month stay at this place. All of amenities are in a good condition. Great location with groceries, restaurants and gyms. If you have some inquiries, the host will respond fast. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Great facilities in the property, clean and comfortable, safe and quiet neighbourhood, host very quick to respond to questions, check in instructions were straight forward and provided 12 hours in advance, strong AC, walking distance to the lake, a grocery store and not too far from
the space needle/downtown, nice digital welcome guide provided too.

Donald told us the place was a battle zone.
Donald told us the place was a battle zone. I didn't see that. I saw a healthy, diverse, bustling city full of tourists and a thriving economy. Did Donald lie to us? There is still a problem of homelessness that needs to be addressed. There needs to be more affordable housing and shelters for the poor. But, I guess that's a national problem. Regardless, I had a great time, ate well, attended excellent concerts, found fun bars and friendly people. Also, they seem to know coffee here. No wonder they are sleepless.

I cancelled this room 4 days prior to arrival as per the state of WA asking visitors to not come because of extensive flooding. I was billed in full anyway despite a written request for a refund. Shame on you

I loved Kirkland, it was so beautiful especiallt having such lovely weather while we were there. Unfortunately although the hotel is very pricy, I was dissapointed it did not have breakfast options, although complimentary tea and coffee were offered across the square in another cafe.

Love Winslow and Bainbridge Island.
Love Winslow and Bainbridge Island. We had lunch at Doc's Marina Grill which has the best clam chowder ever!!! Dinner was at the Harbor House which was excellent as well. The staff was awesome and went above and beyond to accommodate to our unique "special request".

Bainbridge Island has a lot to see in its rural setting.
Bainbridge Island has a lot to see in its rural setting. The beauty is in the forests, mountains and beautiful water features * the bays etc. The town of Winslow is a tourist delight with many wonderful shops to visit plus a town bakery with delicious pastries. It is definitely a walking town and one will have to try to find parking where they can as on weekends the town fills up with visitors coming off the Seattle to Bainbridge Island ferries.

The area was nice except for the prostitutes and drugs at least it was far enough out from Seattle that it wasn't that bad and above 145th street which is where the nastiness stopped at least from what I heard from the locals. The hotel was very good about prevent prostitutes from using the hotel and keeping their location very safe they also work with the police to keep crime under control. I would recommend going out of the area to sitesee though.

So much to do with families there, especially at Christmas time. The Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition, Pike Place Market, Lights at the Seattle Zoo, model train at the Armory, and for shopping, there's the Christmas Market and the "Urban Craft Uprising" at Seattle Center. Plus the ferris wheel...

Beautiful little town, especially at Christmastime, with wonderful decorations. Chick-Fil-A is conveniently located, lots of little shops and a great Mall. Snowflake Lane's small show from Thanksgiving through Christmas is only 20 min, but worth driving 4 hours and staying overnight just to see.

Kirkland was full of people walking and bicycling.
Kirkland was full of people walking and bicycling. Very much like a European city. Makes one feel quite safe. The little corner cafes were nice & cozy, but we would have liked more shops e.g. something like an REI or just a place with normal clothing and creative goods.

After telling rep behind desk that we had no hot water, all she said was "I'm sorry". Did not offer to reduce room rate. Expected hot breakfast to be more than heat your own croisssant or burrito. Price was high for somewhat outdated room. Bathroom floor very dirty when wiped with damp towel. Need to mop tiled floors.
Staff very responsive to get tv remote working. She was very friendly. Nice lawn to let dogs do their business. Beds very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful.
