The room had a fantastic view of the harbor and it was lovely sitting outside watching the ferries come and go. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very well appointed and attractive. The Keurig coffee machine and coffee speaks to the level of care and attention the inn places for its guests. Porridge, hard-boiled eggs, toast, cereal and fresh waffles were satisfying. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel, super nice staff. The room is very big and comfy. There is an outside area with tables and a fireplace which is very nice in the evening. Well situated in Annacortes, a bit far from downtown.

Excellent value for a short stay, had a very comfortable sleep, was quiet could't hear neighbours, nice bathroom, towels and products, and room is very well-equipped for self-catering. Free laundry was a bonus. I would stay again if passing through.

Likes: Beautiful and quiet location. Good value for the money. The Blue Heron Restaurant was outstanding! There are several fun shops to peruse, including some showing some local artists. It's a small island, so getting around is easy. Be sure to wave at oncoming motorists, it's a Lopez Island thing!
Dislikes: Entry was not as described in the booking. The shower does not flow well.

The cleanliness of the home was disgusting. Has not been cleaned for a long time.... including the bathroom. The toliet in the master bedroom needs a new internal mechanism as it would not shut off. There was outdoor furniture but it was so disgusting and dirty it was not usable. The furniture inside was old, very worn and dirty. God, I prayed out sheets were clean!
But....the location of the house was perfect! Close to the ocean and very quiet. The size of the home was perfect. Would have been a perfect place but was so incredibly dirty!

We always stay at the Wild Iris when visiting. We are from out of state so we look forward to the location and beauty of the area and the
B & B is most welcoming. We feel comfortable and safe, plenty of parking and their breakfast is amazing. Definitely will look forward to next trip and stay at the Wild Iris. We had the best fish and chips at La Conner Pub and Eatery with a waterfront view. We loved shopping and going to the Museum of Northwest Art. We also had a fun night at O'Donnell's Irish Pub! All were very close to the Wild Iris.

Lopez is incredible and we do the Tour de Lopez every year. If you have not been to Lopez, it is a must with an adorable downtown area with cute shops, coffee, and a brewery. The views are incredible and locals are extremely kind. Make sure to treat yourself to dinner at Ursa Minor - you will not regret it!

A cute little town near the waterfront with the ferry station. The town had many interesting shops to browse. Washington Park was nearby and was beautiful with lots of wonderful hiking areas. A short drive to Deception Bay State Park which was a bonus.

First Avenue is one of the best shopping streets for clothes, art, and crafts in Western Washington. Many very interesting boutiques. Some excellent restaurants, and two outstanding museums: MONA and the Pacific Northwest Quilt and Fibre Art Museum. We at Seafood and Roast Beef and COA for dinner, and the Waterside Cafe for lunch.

Lopez is amazing, quiet, and if you can, stay here and bike on the ferries to island hop but always return to Lopez. The other towns (Friday Harbor especially) feel like Coney Island compared to Lopez.
Even during the summer, a lot of places are closed Mon-Weds and if you're dining here, make reservations in advance - especially at Setsuna.

The town of La Conner is small and has charm and a few good...
The town of La Conner is small and has charm and a few good restaurants. It is a little ways from the house and also has Native American land on one side of the bay. There is a nice walk along the water just behind some of the businesses.
The wider area is agricultural and you can buy fresh produce, meat and more. Mount Vernon is 8 miles away with medical facilities, Walmart, and most things a sizeable town has. Deception Pass isn't too far with nice areas and beaches, hikes, and more. Anacortes to the north has ferries to islands.
The rental house was not good in any way and was dangerous in wiring and other basics.
