Page, Arizona is a nice spot with a great location for exploring amazing natural sites like Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon. We did an amazing calm river rafting trip which was way worth the price - Great experience and guide! While the town itself is a bit quiet in the evenings and doesn’t have a lot of entertainment or evening options, it’s perfect if you’re focused on outdoor adventures during the day. If you’re looking for a lively evening scene, it might feel a little slow, but overall it’s a convenient and friendly place to base your trips from. The hotel was just a few minutes away from some great dining options. We especially enjoyed the delicious food at BirdHouse and El Tapitio—both were fantastic choices with tasty menus and welcoming atmospheres. Perfect spots for a satisfying meal after a day of exploring!

Antelope canyon is just exceptionally wonderful.
Antelope canyon is just exceptionally wonderful. don't miss it. as well horseshoe bend provides a fantastic view over the Colorado river. we have used this place as a base to go to Zion as well, that was a bit far.

If you are going to visit Antelope Valley or Horseshoe Bend...
If you are going to visit Antelope Valley or Horseshoe Bend or Lake Powell, this is the Town to stay. it's a small town but there is a good choice of hotels and we found surprisingly good restaurants - little gems like Rustic Thistle, or Sunset 89. These are the only ones we visited, I'm sure there are more. Really good food in both of these places. Also large Walmart store located right in the middle where a lot of hotels are - very convenient.

I spent the night and did some exploring before hitting the road towards my final destination. I didn't realize Page is such a key gateway to so many incredible attractions in the surrounding area besides Lake Powell and Grand Canyon. I'll plan a longer stay next time to take a couple day tours to some spectacular natural attractions. Highly recommend.

Lots of restaurant choices! We had a lovely Thai meal at Dara Thai, Red Heritage Navajo dinner and cultural performance was well worth attending; the Hoop Dance was amazing! We enjoyed our tour of Secret Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. We also hired kayaks from Paddle Lake Powell, and kayaked into Antelope Canyon, then hiked along it (can’t hike to the tour bit) which was a great day, my husband’s favourite bit of our whole trip.

Loved Antelope Canyon, we did both lower and upper and we liked both but lower is better in our opinion and 2pm is not a good time to go into it due to a lot of shade. Also enjoyed Horseshoe Bend. Noon to 1pm best time for photos. Grand Canyon Brewery is a great spot for lunch or dinner.
