We loved Top of the Rock.
We loved Top of the Rock. We are not a fan if Silver Dollar City. It was extremely overcrowded with lines for food and rides but we were there during a busy time. The food tasting coupon is not worth buying since you have to wait in line. The Landing was also not worth the time to visit during a vacation in my opinion. WE LOVED the light tour at night on golf carts. Also the museum at Top of the Rock is incredible! It is 4 football fields long and the largest Indian/American museum I believe in the US. Branson was nice but just understand that there are a lot of tourists!

Rockaway Beach is not the destination, the real place you want to see is Branson. Rockaway was great because it is close to everything but far enough away that you don't have all the traffic. My husband loved watching the deer EVERYWHERE. We live in AL and don't see deer like that. I guess no one hunts, but it was a nice, and the mountains were very pretty as well. it did rain a good bit while we were there but apparently that's not the norm

We came to go to Silver Dollar City and White Water. Silver Dollar City is an amazing Family theme park. I would recommend it to anyone. We stated in Branson West for the price and location to Silver Dollar City. This was a perfect choice for our short trip.

The lake was awesome.
The lake was awesome. There are cafes with lake/dock access and places within 20 miles by car (like Flat Creek & El Lago restaurants) with good food and live music. Lots of churches and a walmart in nearby Branson West. The people are friendly.

Loved the Christmas decorations and atmosphere of SDC. Just made us feel more joyful about this season.
Would definitely like to do it again! And do some other things in the Branson area.
We would love to go to the Sight and Sound theater and some of the many shows available in the area.
We enjoyed our visit very much!
We ate on the Landing and there was a nice variety of places to dine there. We also enjoyed having a kitchen and had some of our meals there as well.
We also enjoyed shopping at the Outlet mall and a few other options in Branson west area too.
It was over all a wonderful experience with many options and we will definitely be back again!

SDC, the Boardwalk, downtown- what could you not like?
SDC, the Boardwalk, downtown- what could you not like? They have just about anything for everyone. The only rough part is the traffic, but it is just because of how popular the trip is in general. It does get a bit pricey, but I liked Silver Dollar City, and Grand Country is a nice place to stay for children and adults. The people here are pretty nice, and they have food for everyone and all price ranges as well.

We had the time of our life. We woke up and was getting ready for our day and walked right outside of our hotel and was able to enjoy a Christmas parade. My daughter loved it tossing of candy for her...and for me it brought back childhood memories of our Christmas parades back home and how people had respect for others. During our stay we ate at MA's restaurant the staff was wonderful and food was amazing. It was just like eating at grandmas house. Home cooked food. See when I was younger my family owned its own restaurant and all the food was made from the heart noting frozen like most restaurants serve today. So yes go eat at Ma' s in Kimberling every one needs a dam good home cooked meal..

We were on the 3rd floor if knew there were so many steps ahead of time.we had to carry lots of stuff up would of got a 2nd floor and no railing on outside steps hard for our handicapped to use.we came when it was dark hard to find the building we were in.

Carry a blanket .. The room heat was awful. The bedding paper thin cheap. Nice big refrigerator and microwave in room. Bed wasn't great. It squeaked as it was a thin mattress ,It'll do for short stays. Clean. Had a spider in the tub other than that. For the price cool as I said clean!!!

Kimberling City and that area of the lake is the perfect...
Kimberling City and that area of the lake is the perfect location for the avid bass fisherman. We love the fact that you are nearly exactly mid lake. With that, we can fish towards the dam, or up the various river channels. We live on Grand Lake in Oklahoma, but I really prefer the bass fishing on Table Rock. Three species of black bass, spotted, largemouth, and smalllmouth makes for some exciting days. We go into Branson for dinner nearly every night. Only about 25 minutes or so normally. We have found a few spots in Kimberling for a quick breakfast or lunch also.
