Stayed here because of needing to park a car safely. We parked at the front but found we needed to park in the side street to avoid tow away. The room is spacious and the balcony good to sit on.

It’s very clean. Great location, not too far from the beach, and we rented bikes / e-scooters and were there in like 5 minutes. Theres a nice coffee spot around the corner where you can get breakfast and nice lunch options.
Daniel the owner was amazing. He let us keep our bags in the hostel after checkout, and even let us use a shower as we had late flights and ended up doing the run club. It would have been a rough flight but he kindly helped us out on his own time.

Great location. Very friendly, flexible and accommodating host. Felt like at home. Great beaches (Palisades, Santa Monica, Malibu) within 5-19 mins drive. Getty Villa - 7 mins drive; Getty Museum - 25 mins. Topanga State Park within walking distance - great for walking and running. Range of great restaurants within 5-15 min drive. Easy access to LA by car.

Was NOT HAPPY with the surprise charge of $10 for parking at the facility 's parking. Was NOT HAPPY with the small TV in the room with NO CABLE STATIONS, and GRAINY RECEPTION! THE 3 PM registration gal was NOT very friendly. Noisy in the hallway with people being loud. Hotel situated in an unsafe area. The pros: Breakfast was varied and good. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

We love staying at this location, because it is close by...
We love staying at this location, because it is close by other restaurants and markets that you can walk. This location is excellent for not having to get up so early for an early flight at LAX. The shuttle service is a huge plus for us as well. It’s nice to have a little breakfast before we have to leave. This is our go to lodging when we fly out of LAX.

I really enjoyed the restaurants and bars (Shellback Tavern, Esperanza, Hennesey's, etc.), all of which were in relatively close proximity. My only gripe is the parking situation, which can be challenging to find a spot when it gets busy. Overall, I enjoyed Manhattan Beach and plan on returning in the near future.

True, a lot of it is run-down, but it looks to be on the up, largely because of the development of the new stadium.
People I met were all very friendly.
Don't believe everything you read - go see it for yourself instead!

El Segundo was a very quiet nice area. The hotel is literally on the border of a community of El Segundo which was pretty cool. Streets were safe and I walked conveniently to IHOP and the coffee shop without no problem

You can walk from this hotel to the beach, but be warned: it's a hilly walk there and it is uphill on the way back from the beach. I would not recommend it with children younger than 9-10. If you are a couple or alone go for it. The houses are huge, the yards tiny and they are all so different. The beach is beautiful and they have a "Round House" on the pier that has an aquarium inside it. Wow.

This place is smelly, we got in the trash can is not even empty, dirty wash towels on top of shower hear and overhang, smell pee on bathroom floor, the cleaner was in the next room and kind enough to clean our bathroom. No fire alarm, went to the front desk and they know.just too tired to check everything we want to get some sleep and leave the next day. Bed and pillow is sunken and gave us back pain and headache, what a day. Remove this from your list it’s not a good place for family.

The staff welcomes you warmly, offering coffee as soon as you arrive. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch, the rooms are comfortable, and the internet connection is reliable. The airport shuttle service is also very convenient. IHOP very close and others restaurants are a short distance from the hotel . Close to the pool there is an area with fire pits .
