Skajla Apartments ligger i Medulin i Istrien med Burle Strand indenfor 15 minutters gang og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi, grillfaciliteter, en have og gratis privat parkering. The host was the best, we forgot a luggage there and he helped us with it. Kept it safe, tried to send it via courier, in the end a friend of ours went back for it after a couple of days. The facilities were great, very clean, has AC, parking spot, about 30min walk to the beach, 15min walk to lidl and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Villa Lav simply exceeded our expectations in every way. The place is a hidden gem in the village of Bale and it offers a relaxed high quality holiday. If you want to escape crowds on the beaches or simply find a perfect retreat to get away from the business of your daily life, this is the place for you. The owners and the staff was so pleasant (and professional!), they made us feel like we were home every day. The property was very well groomed and the rooms were spotless, furnished with beautiful custom made furniture. Wifi in the room was good. More importantly, the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is more than rich! It offers variety of food for everyone's taste. The restaurant in the Villa Lav offers Istrian and Macedonian cuisine and it is definitely worth visiting. Last but not least, the swimming pool is amazing. It is surrounded with high pine trees and there are plenty of sun beds around it for all quests. We saw pictures on the website but the reality was even better. The size of the pool is 18 x 13 m! During our stay in villa Lav, we visited Rovinj (12 km away), the Bale open air jazz festival and we went to an open air concert in Pula Arena. In addition to relaxing time in the villa, there are plenty of nice places to visit and events to attend nearby this beautiful property.

If you expect polite, friendly and accommodating staff, this hotel will be fine for you. Rooms and facilities. Our room suitable for 6, was spotlessly clean and had all of the utensils necessary for a holiday away from your own home, including an expresso maker! You probably have things in your kitchen at home that are missing here: one of the differences between being at home and being on holiday. The towels are exchanged every 2 days. As with every holiday apartment, you are responsible for keeping it clean. A brush, mop and bucket are available for you to use. The cleaners ensure that you enter a tidy apartment, you can live as clean as you wish, but don't be that person who leaves the room in an awful state when you leave. ;) Pool and beach. We visited several beaches around the region and found the beach at the hotel to be among the best! There are rocks directly off the shore which are absolutely prefect for snorkeling! Lots for interesting things to see. Our children loved it, as did we. Sandy beaches are not as good for observing the sea life, but are easier on you sensitive feet. It is recommended to purchase swimming shoes in advance to gain full advantage for the sea in Croatia. (It's not Mallorca). The hotel's gravel sea side are is equipped with loungers and parasols. The pools are a generous size and are cleaned regularly to ensure that the next day of swimming is a pleasant experience for all guests. Therefore, in order to give the staff time to maintain this, the pool is closed from 8pm.
