Erimo Apartments I'm 78 years old, and in all my traveling (many places in the world) I have NEVER come across a more gracious, helpful,  and generous host than Takashi Soda. His help to sort out an accommodation problem at another venue for other members of our group, and driving us to catch a bus at short notice was way above 'call of duty'. His accommodation at Erimo self contained studio units have everything you need and more. These are a typical Japanese living space, not big, but pack in so many facilities in a small space it amazes me. They are modern, and spotlessly clean. There is also a shared communal room. Very easy to get anywhere around Sapporo from here. Either long or short term. Hiragishi subway station & the full supermarket (open 09 to 23.30) next to it are a 4 minute walk, a 7/11 is a 2 minute walk away.  Takashi speaks quite reasonable English. I highly recommended this place to stay.

The interior design of the hotel has a modern Japanese vibe which I really love. The room was beyond our expectations as well, it was clean and all the things we needed were already provided. This is the best place to stay in Otaru, it's right in the Sakaimachi area and really nearby the Music Box Museum. The staff are so nice by the way! 🥰😍

We loved the proximity of the slopes We hired three of the 5 chalets, all had their own entrances and so were great for 3 groups of 4 people. The sitting room area meant all 12 of us could meet and eat together. Would highly recommend if skiing in Furano. To get to the main supermarkets in Furano you need a car. We managed perfectly by hiring one car and most of the group getting the airport shuttle which stops fairly close by

This was a refurbished old unit in central area of Otaru. It was on 2nd floor. Furnishing is acceptable but hot water was very good, air-con/heater works well and the beds are cosy and comfortable, although all 5 beds (2 double deckers and 1 single bed) are in 1 room. Internet was slow when we arrived, but we contacted the hosts immediately and they promptly resolved this. Giving the unit a 10 for their quick resolution especially given that internet access is now so important!
