The location was perfect - slightly off the main areas but close to pretty much everything! The place was spacious and spotless, communication was frequent and easy, and I loved having a patio to relax on at the end of the day.

The holiday started off amazing when we were greeted at the airport by Gary with an absolutely beautiful Lei garland. Then being taken to the cabin, we were given a warm welcome by Cami, who explained everything about Easter Island and gave us plenty of recommendations for tours, restaurants and shows to see! The accommodation was comfortable, modern with a rustic twist and tranquil. We wanted a rental car which Gary sorted for us which was waiting for us upon arrival. I would highly recommend getting a car to drive to Anakena beach. The cabin is close to their small hotel which gives you access (booking is advised) which Gary set up for us with candles, music and a drink! It was perfect. Very sad to have left! Highly recommend!

Wonderful accomodation just 2min walking from the best sunset viewpoint on the island (and the only sunset moai you can access without a guide). Well-equipped kitchen and large refrigerator. Two lovely cats to keep you company on the terrace! Very responsive and friendly hosts who immediately helped us out in case of questions and issues. Would definitely recommend this accomodation as a base for exploring Easter Island!

Henua Roa Loft ligger i Hanga Roa, 18 km fra Ahu Tongariki og 19 minutters gang fra Ahu Tahai. Her er gratis wi-fi og et tv. Carolina was the perfect host. Before arrival, she provided me with helpful information regarding the stay. She met me and my partner at the airport with flower necklaces and gave us a lot of practical information showing around Hanga Roa by car. Moreover, Carolina also allowed us to stay after check-out time and gave us a ride back to the airport - all of this for free. Despite she didn't speak English and we understand just a bit of Spanish, communication via google translate wasn't a problem at all. The cabana itself was very comfortable, with all needed kitchen amenities, comfortable bed, fan, window blinders and even a bathtube that could be also used for washing clothes (just keep in mind humidity levels and allow extra hours to let it dry). Wi-fi and mobile internet both worked fine. The location was great: less that 10 min walk from the main street, 15 min from Ahu Tahai and from the beaches. At the same time the house is not on a busy street but surrounded by residential houses, so it gave a local feeling! Carolina and her family live next door, so they can respond quickly if assistance is needed. Carolina also offered us to rent her car for a day for a very good price. If we had an extra day, I would definitely accept her offer - because it's really a lot to see and do on Easter Island independently with a car, even now when most popular sights require a guide.
