The property is around 3.1 km from Al Khazneh The Treasury, 6.6 km from Petra Church and 6.7 km from High Place of Sacrifice. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. I was looking for some basic and economical that was close to Petra. This apartment fit the bill perfectly. It is close to Petra but I didn't walk. It would be downhill on the way there but uphill on the way back and that would be hard after long day. If you have a car it is just a few minutes to the parking lot at Petra. And if you decide to walk there are plenty of texis waiting at Petra to take you anywhere. It had WiFi, hot shower and two small beds. A small breakfast was included which was nice and there was a mini fridge with water and other items available for purchase for a cheap price. There were options for dinner but I ended up staying late in Petra both nights so was unable to try that. The price and location cannot be beat.

The place is a bit outside of the center but for only 4JOD you can get a taxi to Petra which is easy enough. The owner is super friendly and even drove us to an amazing sunset place and he is always just a message away and ready to help. We would definitely go back there!
