Fantastic area for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Endless silence at night and the view in the morning is breathtaking. The very clean little apartment is perfect for two people, but four can also be comfortably accommodated with the extra bed that can be folded down in the living room. The equipment is retro, so it is not sensitive. After a whole day's trip, you can let yourself go in a very homey way, sunbathing on the large terrace and waiting for the sunset

Very service minded staff - from front desk to hospitality - super friendly and super helpful. It’s a fantastic location on the Wolfgangsee lake with direct access to the lake - swimming and water sports activities, and the town centre itself is just a one minute walk . The view from our room was exactly as advertised - exceptional and great attention to detail to the needs of the guests in the room . Very good breakfast which is open until noon .

Great rooms! Great location and view from the room. The room has everything you need and a good kitchen. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Within walking distance (2 minutes!) beach, ski lift, promenade, center and marina. We will definitely come back!

The apartment we got was roomy, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything that you would need for an enjoyable stay. It has been a while since we had the opportunity to enjoy our stay so much, and were very pleasantly surprised with the apartment we got. The location is also fabulous - close enough to everything that you need, but remote enough to be perfectly quiet and serene, so you can enjoy only the sound of birds chirping.

We were welcomed very pleasantly. We were very happy to be able to check-in after check-in hours. We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.

The most unique and interesting place we stayed on our 35th-anniversary trip was Park am See. We stayed in one of the restored caravans, La Mandragora, instead of the usual B and B or hotel. While I don't think I would want permanently live in a caravan, it was wonderful for a few days. The owners are interesting and have backgrounds in the history of food and of art. They shared interesting stories about how they acquired and restored the caravans and lodges on the property. From our conversations, it seems they are interested in preserving this unique location and sharing it with others. This is a campsite, so there are camping vans, people in tents, and unique lodges all on the property. Our location was quiet and close to the lake. We opted to pay extra for breakfast, which we enjoyed very much. We were presented a selection of fresh produce, beautifully cooked eggs, and a variety of meats and bread. One morning we had breakfast inside and the next we had it out on the porch. The owners helped us make a reservation at a local restaurant that offered a delicious meal and seemed full of both regular locals and tourists. The location of Park am See was perfect if you have a vehicle. The area was more peaceful than Halstatt, which was so crowded and presented challenges for parking. We opted to drive around to Obertraun and take the boat across to Hallstatt. The boat ride was pleasant, gave us a unique view of Hallstatt, and helped us avoid the crazy parking problems there. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this as a fantastic experience.

Everything was excellent. The host, Leopoldine, is very friendly and welcoming. My room has a nice balcony from which mountains and the lake can be seen. The town (Hallstatt) and the place is a dream come true. The bathroom was shared, but was always perfectly clean and always empty as well. The cakes served at breakfast are delicious. I super recomend this place.
