Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

Eric and the staff were very accommodating and frequently asked if we needed anything. They also gave information about the area and things to do. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are very clean, cosy and comfortable. Hotel is located in San Miguel, and you'll need to get a boat transfer everytime you need to go to Flores (10q per person) Although there are a lot of things to do in San Miguel as well. (Beaches, short hikes, excavation sites)

Lovely, quiet, sophisticated spot on the edge of the lake. Can walk to the mirador of Flores in ten minutes or get to the island by boat. The hotel is very clean, chic, and stylish. Can swim in the lake and use the onsite restaurant or pool facilities.

The location was awesome, just a boat ride away from Flores and the hotel provides a boat service for free (4times a day). Very nice breakfast options. In general, a great experience.

We had an amazing stay - big beds, quiet area, beautiful views on lake Peten, helpful staff - thank you Eduardo!, food made on request - very tasty, they allowed us to take a shower before our night bus although it was after check out - thank you so much, there is a boat shuttle to the Isla - takes 2 min to get to the Isla:)))

We had booked a superior room and it was absolutely first class, with amazing views of the sunrise over the lake from the large private balcony. The bed was comfortable, decor was lovely and the big shower was good. Breakfast was included and was delicious, with plenty of choice, and although there was no bar you could buy cold drinks from reception. The tour to Tikal was good value.

Featuring a terrace, Hotel Santana is set in Flores and also provides a restaurant and a bar.
