A small but cozy room with a private bathroom. A very good location, especially for watching the Northern Lights. It's about an hour of drive to Reykjavik and less than 20 to Selfoss. Eva, the host is a very friendly and open person; whenever I needed anything, I could always count on her, she also gives us a good advices about places to visit.

The cozy house is truly welcoming, well-kept, and clean. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and washing. The staff is very friendly and provided us with welcome snacks. The house exudes a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. A true cozy home ideal for finding refuge on windy and rainy days. It's a shame we could only stay one night!

The host was very kind and easy to reach - prior to travel as well as onsite. Fully equipped room with everything needed for one or more nights (kitchen with everything thats needed). Beds very comfy and the room (as most of the house) was modenr and very nicely redone. Big plus was the proper coffee machine in the corridor for free and excellent coffee. Also check in was very flexible and easy (self service if arrival very late).

We spent wonderful days at the Barn House and felt very comfortable. The house is perfectly equipped and very stylishly furnished. The location is ideal for trips to Thingvellir / Golden Circle or towards the south coast (Vik, Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss). The communication with Kristinn was perfect. Next to a beatiful lake, the Villa had all we could have asked for. Hot tub, finnish Sauna, large windows with lake view, excellent kitchen and barbecue facilities. Central location to see many of the main sights of Iceland. If we ever come to Iceland again, we'll definitely come here again!
