Perfect stay in Oslo! In this room, I had everything I needed and felt very cozy and comfortable. The space was thoughtfully designed, spotless clean, and surprisingly quiet — perfect for a short stay in the city. The location was excellent (also for Parking!!), close to public transport, cafes, and everything I wanted to see. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, and check-in was super easy. Overall, a great value for money and a wonderful base for exploring Oslo. I’d definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about Villa Thorse! The location, neighbourhood, beds, kitchen - everything! I cannot even begin to describe the views and the location of this place. There were six of us and the villa was perfect for us. Bedrooms are upstairs and the sofa/bed for kids was downstairs. Bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot, but that's because we were there when it was five days of hot sun - in the middle of summer. Won't complain though, the weather was perfect for long walks around Drøbak. Oslo was close with a car and there was a ferry going to the near Oscarsborg fortress/museum island every hour from dusk till dawn. We were supposed to stay only a couple of nights at first, but decided to extend the visit to a week (before arriving). Best choice I've ever made :) There were so much to see and do, the week felt way too short. Never felt so sad to leave a place. Thank you for everything, Ellen, We WILL be back! :))

The owner, Geir may appear a little brusque in written communication, however that doesn't reflect the reality of the charming man that you will meet when you arrive. The apartment itself is perfectly located. Internally it has lots of space and is somewhat eccentric in a good way. Interesting art work on the walls and personal touches everywhere. Don't bother to bring shower gels or shampoo, there is enough in the bathroom already for a 12 month stay. The fridge (and freezer) were packed with food and drinks when we arrived. A little less so when we left.

Gorgeous cabin with great view, surrounded by beautiful nature. We highly recommend it. It was perfect for a late October getaway in autumn's gorgeous foliage. We recommend downloading a hiking/trekking app and going and discovering the surroundings on foot. Supermarkets and cafes are within minutes by car or bus. The bus stop is also very close to the cabin.
