Whangapoua Waves was beautiful and well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. From beautiful linen to really good books to read. Everything has been thought of and it's a real credit to the owner.

We stayed on the top floor in an apartment facing the ocean. I think it was number 8. It was perfect. We could cook our own meals in the well equipped full kitchen. It was well laid out to sleep a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. We slept so well because of the black out blinds and lapping ocean just outside, My 22 year old daughter enjoyed using the trampoline and we both enjoyed the hot tub and having our meals on our balcony overlooking the beautiful view, The hosts were also lovely and very helpful with suggestions as to things to do. it was well located to walk and drive to different sites to visit in the surrounding areas. A nice bonus is it also had Netflix to relax at night with a movie, Because of the lack of noise and light pollution, star gazing was at its best. I would highly recommend this property.

Delightful, professional, attentive, hospitable hosts. Very accommodating (got up at sparrow’s to cook us breakfast for an early departure on the next leg of our journey); served on plush deck with oveanview. Exceptional amenities: 2 beautiful adjacent gardens for guests, huge comfortable stylish bedroom, ample space, fridge/drawers/cupbrds stocked with free wine, tea/coffee, snacks, (bathroom drawer offered every item imaginable from razors to very personal toiletries; every need under the sun provided for. Secure premises & parking. Water’s Edge worth every cent! Incomparable on every level. We refuse to stay anywhere else!
